Not like this place needs another glowing review, but tonight was one of those “this is exactly what we needed” dinners. Appreciated having plenty to choose from on the vast menu and open later. Food came fast. Drinks were on point. Cheers to Kylan for genuinely great service. The Pendant continues to prove why it’s a favorite.

The shakes are fun and the games are a great time too
This is a great place for kids or a big group but if you are just stopping by for something to eat it’s nothing crazy.

We have adored The Pennant for years. We went there to have lunch yesterday for the Mistletoe Popup.
The manager (who is ALWAYS THERE) came to our table and initiated a kind and authentic conversation. The server was fantastic as always, and the thing that brought is the MOST JOY was the servers having lunch together; bonding, laughing, chatting…
The whole table of these beautiful humans stopped their time together, and bid us a good day.
The Pennant feels like family. The food?

Always a good time here. Great food and service was good too. Drinks were fantastic.
Only complaint would be noise, hard to hear everyone at our table with all the surrounding noise. Even just two people away.

Fantastic atmosphere and food! Service was attentive but not over bearing. Had the habanero wings and jalapeño fries! Settled for the classic chocolate shake (though they all sounded amazing!) and was not disappointed! 10/10 will be visiting again!

Topeka isn’t a large city so if you’re used to and/or expecting there to be big city vibes like in a metropolitan area this may not be the place for you. However, The Pennant seemed to be the place to be with an arcade upstairs and bowling, a bar and restaurant on the main level. The price is fairly good for what you get i.e. $5/game to bowl or $25/hour. Both prices included shoes and the ball. The food is decent – obviously it won’t be gourmet but it wasn’t terrible; comparable to a Buffalo Wild Wings but just a different menu. They also have shakes which seem to be their signature. There are plenty of flavors to choose from, but these shakes are a little on the higher end price wise ($8 + tax), and most of what you’re paying for seems to be the appearance with a plethora of toppings. However, they are good but my critique would be more shake for the cost.

I’ve been here since about 3:30pm (JUST IN TIME FOR LINNER! Son Goku would be proud). I got seated at a table with no wait. Molly (my wait staff) did not make it weird. In fact, she was delightful. Service was prompt and accurate. The food was delicious. I ordered a Pretzel Pub Crawl with Garlic Parmesan fries. There are authentic OG arcade machines here, including but not limited to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I believe it was sold as “The Manhattan Project” on NES), The Simpsons, VS. Super Mario Bros. (an alternate version from the one commonly sold with NES systems), and Tetris (which makes its presence known at great volume). Overall, there’s a nice vibe here and I look forward to returning on a return trip to Topeka.

Went during dinner rush. Spent my time up stairs in the arcade. 7$ all you can play arcade?!?!! Yes please. Food was great. Got food for me and the kid plus drinks for both of us… Couple extra cocktails for me. Less than 60$ including the games. Highly recommend. This was on a Thursday. P.S. arcade games are retro. Just Incase that isn’t your thing.

I was greeted and sat by a very nice lady immediately and had a really helpful waitress by the name of Gia and the man that brought us our food even got us refills while our waitress was busy with other tables and truly went above and beyond to keep us happy and taken care of. 10/10 I will absolutely be coming back regularly

Burger was okay. Cool little place but it was so packed for lunch. I’m not sure if they were understaffed or what but our food took forever and the waitress was nowhere to be found for napkins/enough silverware for everyone at the table. Ticket was rung up wrong but we didn’t notice till after the card was charged and of course we couldn’t hunt down the waitress again. Overpriced for having to share napkins/ silverware and being overcharged for our food.
