I love coming here for lunch. The service is phenomenal! Sandy is the best, most efficient, and friendly waitresses in town. She makes you feel like you’re a good friend. Food comes out fast, hot, and fresh. I always get Rodney’s crispy chicken sandwich, with fries.

Good location. Parking is available…but not a whole lot and the spaces are tight (it seems that if one car parks on a line then that starts a chain of cars all parking on or over the lines). The restaurant is small inside, but as the name suggests, it’s courtyard is the place to eat. Quaint with plenty of metal tables and chairs. The menu is extensive and should please most people. Had the Chicken spinach salad: was good-ish…the chicken was overcooked and a bit tough. Wife had tunamelt and that was quite good. However, paid an extra $2 to ‘upgrade’ from fries to Onion Rings and received only 5 small rings.

Wanted to try their pulled pork sandwich at 11:15 am but was told just breakfast served, I think until noon. Was suggested the breakfast sandwich and it was pretty good.

The Peasant’s Courtyard, caught my eye while put and about from the Sacramento area handling business my worksite in Alamo and made my way in about 11am hoping to try some breakfast. Upon entering, there are some tables and chair arrangements as well as a Bar-counter area. Seated at the bar area, I ask about Breakfast but had missed their serving hours by Half-Hour. Oh well, what comes next but lunchtime.

Unexpectedly amazing! The food was fantastic – super fresh and well made. It was the people and service that made it a place I will visit often. Oh…and they serve wine Joan Collins style!

Amazing restaurant with wonderful food and incredibly friendly staff. They allow for outdoor dining in the courtyard and they have fantastic house made lemonade and iced tea. I had their special of the day which was Rob’s Crispy Chicken, which was superb!
