Stopped in for a mid-day meal and noticed right away that we were the only ones in the restaurant. The setting and overall vibe were really nice—very intimate and quiet, which made for a relaxing atmosphere.
We started with the crab au gratin as an appetizer. When it first came out it was room temperature, so we did have to send it back to be heated up. Once warmed, the flavor was really good and it ended up being a solid dish. I’d give it a 7/10 and would still recommend trying it.
For dessert we ordered the bread pudding. Unfortunately it was a bit dry and very dense, so it didn’t quite hit the mark for us. I’d rate it about a 5/10.
Overall, the atmosphere is very intimate and cozy, especially since we had the entire restaurant to ourselves during our visit. With a few small tweaks to the food execution, it could be a really great dining experience.

This restaurant have such a warming and inviting vibe. I’ve been here several times with my friends but the last time I went, it was for a party. I did not know you could reserve their room in the back for a small event/party. We celebrated my friend’s 50th birthday there. The atmosphere was so nice and cozy.

We had such a great dinner at The Pearl tonight! The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed, and there wasn’t a long wait which was a plus. He ordered the Skirt Steak and I had the Crawfish Caroline pasta. Both dishes were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the customer service was excellent all around. Definitely a new spot we’ll be adding to our regular “out-to-eat” nights!

Had a great meal here! The food and service was great. We started with the crab balls, Fire Station Shrimp, and Rockefeller oysters. Everything was super tasty. I had the grilled fish for my main dish, and it was really good. Finished off with the homemade bread pudding, which hit the spot!

First of all I would like to start out with the fact that the owner is really nice and I appreciate him coming out and checking on all his guests while we were there. I have been wanting to try the Pearl for a long time and it just so happened that I noticed that it is open for lunch on this Wednesday. We decided to pop in. The most disappointing thing is learning it had a limited menu. I would have loved to have had the brisket grits but they were not the daily special for Wednesday, my sister would have loved the Cajun Meatloaf but it wasn’t a special that day. The service was good but unfortunately the food was not perfect (hardly any place is). The brisket fries were delicious and everyone in the party said we would absolutely get them again. The onion rings were bland, saltless, and over done. Your take on a muffuletta is strange and the provolone is a real sharp one. Most people would not appreciate. . The sandwhiches were also dry and needed more sauce added to them. The gumbo is flavorful and is a great price but I personally think it would taste a little better with slightly less pepper. They are starting a new lunch menu next week and I will be back. It has way more options than the current one. I would love to still try the Pearl for dinner and I plan on it in the near future.

We made a reservation for my husband’s birthday and throughly enjoyed the expired from start to finish. Our server Jeff was amazing and gave great recommendations especially since we had our picky kiddos with us. We will definitely return as we greatly enjoyed the food and service. I highly recommend the oysters.

Yesterday was my first time visiting The Pearl. It was also my birthday. Everything was wonderful from the location, to the ambiance, and of course the food! Let’s just say that I received immaculate service. Unfortunately I forgot our waitress name, but she provided great customer service and was extremely knowledgeable about recommendations. She was super sweet and checked on us often. I will definitely be back!

We definitely loved our experience here. The food was superb. Our drinks were well made. I got the sea bass and it was an experience! It’s a must. The grilled Mississippi red was good with the sauce. The char-grilled oysters were good, chipotle Bourbon and Rockefeller were my favorites.
