I wanted to like this spot. Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. Maybe they were having an off day?
First on the positive side; They have a nice roof top bar and The bar tender was nice and provided prompt service.
However we were very Disappointed with the food. I ordered the NY strip steak – the steak was covered in onions and mushrooms (didn’t mind that) but the steak was tough and worse… It had no seasoning (steak had a bitter taste as well). I ended up using the butter that was meant for my baked potato on the steak with a good amount of salt and pepper- that seems to helped (a little). My friend ordered the fish and chips – but the batter wasnt cooked all the way and a little soggy on the bottom- had to pick the batter off.
Like I said, maybe they were having an off day but TBH I am not sure I would come back for food however I will def come back for drinks. Service was fantastic and will like to check out the roof top bar next time.

Fantastic atmosphere. They have a rooftop bar that is a perfect size to eat dance get to meet people. Bartenders are fun and personable. Food is really great on the rooftop. The right size menu for bar eats but with a few items that aren’t just fried bar bites. Great vibe and mix of people. Both young and older crowd mingling together. Way layed out benches bar tops and counter seats. Live music I understand on many nights. Plenty of parking Great place to catch a sunset. Will definitely visit again.

Attended a private event in their beautifully renovated upstairs room complete with full service bar. The staff was friendly, helpful, drinks were great and the food was delicious. Would return without hesitation.

Very unpleasant experience. We came here to watch the Super Bowl and I’ve never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Simply asking for drinks or food was met with unnecessary attitude from the bartender. We will not be coming back. If your bartender is Nael, don’t waste your time sitting at the bar.

Had a rooftop experience for a work event. Didn’t even know there was a rooftop! Nice time, employees were very nice and helpful. Good atmosphere! Would go back.

Went there as part of senior group. Food was good but portions were ridiculously small. The icing on the cake (they only had one which not enough for all). The worst part was that there was no decaf coffee and there 1, yes you heard me right 1 urn for over 80 people needless to say there was not enough coffee for all. Very disappointing at $80.00 per person.

I still like the Grand Saloon after all these years. Food still good, especially the French Dip. Agree with another reviewer tho- the beers are a rip-off (Guinness is expensive and underpoured). Pearl River is one of my favorite downtowns! 3.5 – 4 stars.

Drinking a budlight seltzer, defiant beer and a magners
The food was very flavorful and cooked to perfection.
I would recommend The Pearl River Saloon to anybody and everybody.
