Thank you for visiting the Pearl Cactus Steakhouse in Blanket, Texas. For a year and half we had the pleasure of serving our guest. On February 15th 2025 our back wall collapsed leaving us uncertain on what will happen in the future. We appreciate all the support that everyone has giving us. Please follow our Facebook for updates. Thank you all!

Stopped by for a quick drink and wow! This bar is pure Texas vibes. Stunning. The bartender was lovely… and the owner stopped by to tell us about the history of this building which was really cool to hear. I had the Broadway and Main cocktail which was delicious. We didn’t get a chance to eat here, but the menu looked amazing. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re down this way.

The best ‘no frills’ steak you can find in this part of Texas. The salads and sides should not be slept on. The atmosphere is great and the service is spot on. A great laid back meal with an upscale feel. Not to mention the mixed drinks are unique and refreshing. This gem is well worth checking out.

Courtney and the service team were great, very accommodating. The idea and concept of the Pearl I like but the food was a bit underwhelming. Stuffed jalapeños were too sweet, not enough spice or salt. Drinks were good and presentation fit the atmosphere of the place. I order the 14oz Akaushi, the cut was very fatty and not marbled. Overall decent place but would not go out of my way to return or recommend. Very disappointed.

We came in on a Saturday & sat at the bar top. Our dinner plans were last minute, so there wasn’t time to make a reservation, but I would recommend reserving a table because they are very busy.
But the service was amazing, we were taken great care of by the 2 bartenders, and the food was excellent. I recommend the salmon & mac&cheese, but my husband prefers the steak & potatoes. Both are great choices.
Make sure you stop by, your tastebuds & your belly will thank you!

Unique atmosphere. Elegant, clean, minimalist decor. Food is outstanding. Menu is somewhat limited, but it is easy to find some items that please.
Dining is separated from the bar. There is also a lovely outdoor beer garden.

I was temporarily working in the area, and my coworkers wouldn’t shut up about how amazing The Pearl Cactus was. I absolutely had to check it out. The Pearl Cactus exceeded my every expectation. It had all the class of an upscale restaurant in the big cities while keeping every bit of the small town charm and friendliness. Travis (the owner) sat me himself. He pulled up a chair later when I asked him a few questions taking time out of his busy evening to chat with me. He sat me next to Austin who immediately made me feel like I practical grew up there with him. Hope served my drinks and food. The service was great. The food was amazing. I went with the chef’s special, a stuffed pork chop big enough to use as a boat anchor. I’m no quitter, but I simply could not have finished it. I’m not sure the starting lineup of a football team could have finished it together. The drinks were superb and ranked up there with any of the fancy bars I’ve been to in the metroplex. The restaurant was obviously a family run business. Their attention to the customers needs was the only thing that mattered. Travis wanted everyone there to feel welcome, pleased with their stay, and eager to come back. And I will.

We have been here twice and have enjoyed it both times! It is going to be pricier than other restaurants around the area but that is also because it is more quality. It’s a nice environment, music isn’t too loud and there’s a calm ambiance yet still bright and cheery with all the natural light coming in. I worked at Katie’s when I was in school years ago so this building holds lots of memories! The owner seems to participate in managing operations which shows. It’s so nice to have a place like this but in a small, quiet town.

Speedy seating and excellent waitress. Taped music was too loud. We had to practically yell to be heard. All the tables had the same issue, causing the noise to be even louder. Iced tea and coffee were very good. I asked for a medium well New York Strip Steak; however, my steak was delivered rare and bleeding. I sent the steak back to be cooked longer. When our waitress brought my steak back, it was still rare, so I sent it back again. At this point, my family had finished eating and were waiting on me. TWENTY minutes later, our waitress brought my steak back. It was cooked to a crisp and burnt on the edges. I ended up eating some of the steak from the center of the meat. Prices are very high for the quality of the food. Salty ranch style pinto beans cane with the entrees. You have to pay extra for other sides and house salad.
We will not be going back and will dissuade others from going here.
