The Pearl

The Pearl is our take on a gastropub. It’s a restaurant for people who love food — the kind of food our chefs love to create and enjoy. We’re pairing innovative culinary technique with traditional tavern fare that’s made-from-scratch comfort food. Everything, from our hand cranked sausage to our chorizo dust on our clam chowder is simply great. We also offer 10 unique draughts, 40 bottles of ales, lagers & stouts and two revolving taps of rare, limited and often local taps. Classic cocktails are created with barrel aged spirits from our in-house infusion locker. Guests can also enjoy housemade seasonal punches served tableside in classic punch bowls. Whether you’re looking to eat brunch or have some seafood, you’ve made the right choice.

A refined tavern serving creative fare, alongside wine, house-infused drinks & a deep beer list.

Nice atmosphere. Felt like the menu should have more seafood options. I ended up trying the steak, hubs got the salmon and fried chicken. The food was ok and drinks were ok. Had the night shade, the waiter walking by told us it was fruity but wasn’t too me. Nothing bad just not my taste. Our server was great! Had a lot of knowledge about the menu and offered suggestions. Our first time there, but overall it was nice. Nothing bad stood out that I noticed.

This is a modern American restaurant with a very uniquely decorated interior. The food was priced comparable to the downtown area, but the quality was easily seen and tasted. I had the burger, which was a very conservative choice compared to numerous other menu options. Service was friendly, and the location has a very laid back atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a try if you are downtown and looking for a quality option.

I loved the atmosphere and decor! The food was delicious, and their drinks were refreshing! Also, they put your check in a book where people can leave a cool note! It was my first time here, but it won’t be my last.

I rarely give the 5 star but this place delivered! My wife and I had nice valentines date here. We had the devils on horse back, very tasty, then the most tender wings I’ve ever had(these a fancy wings too!) finally the I had the hanger steak, and my wife had the catch of the day! Service, atmosphere and tastes where exceptional! My only complaint was I wish our table wasn’t as close to the other diners, it other than that 10/10!

Great food and service! When you need seafood, you need to see the food at The Pearl! Oysters were great! The Braised Short Ribs is a MUST! (No pic b/c I went right for them) Even appetizers were on point!

Great ambiance and decor. Lots of seating options. Service was ok, nothing great though. We ordered the smoked salmon appetizer, which was good. For entrees we got the shrimp and grits and the hangar steak, which was very tough sadly. The shrimp and grits were delicious though.

Visiting Columbus only for an overnight. I’d admired their groovy awning and old-school typography the previous evening— and thought, “yup this is the place.” And, luckily the next morning we found a parking spot and slid into The Pearl. Perfect poached eggs and great hash. Sorry no food shots, trust me, three of us left completely satisfied. Except for the coffee. Maybe everyone was having bloody. Service friendly and efficient. Also, the typewriter topped it off.

I’ve been to The Pearl a handful of times usually for business dinners. This restaurant is reliably good/ok but not my favorite but last night the food was the best I’ve had from there.
