Absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end! We hosted a fundraiser here and truly couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The service was incredible! The staff was welcoming, attentive and supportive the entire time and the vibes were nothing but positive for our event. Everyone went above and beyond to make the night run smoothly and our guests had the best time! So grateful to this restaurant and their team! Highly recommend!

Dining at the pearl was an amazing experience. The shrimp Mozambique appetizer was delicious. Our waitress gave us a tip to dip the bread in the sauce and it was a game changer. The chicken alentejana was so yummy. We had to finish our meal with the marshmallow cookie dough cake and it was the perfect way to end the meal. I appreciated how the food was fresh so we felt satisfied and not stuffed and sick after our meal. We will definitely be back.

This was our second time here in less than a month. The food is authentically Portuguese (without having to drive down to New Bedford or Fall River).
On our first visit, my husband had the Portuguese steak, which had the round potatoes and an absolutely delicious sauce! The sirloin was cooked medium rare, too, as he asked; the egg was unfortunately overcooked, but he could live with that. They had initially forgotten it, but brought it out when he questioned as to whether or not the dish came with an egg. I find that some Portuguese restaurants often overcook steak, but his was perfect. My Pork (carne) Aletejana was also really good, which is why I ordered it again on our second visit. That go-round, the dish was still flavorful, but the meat wasn’t as tender as the first time. We went for lunch the second time though, so maybe the meat hadn’t cooked as long as it had the first time.
My husband’s salted cod dish – I can’t recall the name – was good, so he said. He’d ordered it because he said the description sounded like a dish he’d had in a Portuguese restaurant on our trip to Paris last month – it wasn’t; however, he said he liked it. The only disappointment was the Mussels Mozambique appetizer for $15.99. There were 6 green mussels (I prefer the black ones) with a slice of chorizo and some sautéed kale on top, in a light, in no way overly generous Mozambique sauce. The overall dish was underwhelming in that there were far too few mussels for the price; plus, the sauce was too thin and certainly needed more butter. My husband makes Shrimp
Mozambique all the time, and I must say that his sauce is far superior.
This is a good restaurant, with very good, friendly service, and (mostly) reasonably priced dishes.

Had dinner here for the first time and, oh my goodness was it good! From the start, the hostess went above and beyond to quickly accommodate our large party and was so sweet and friendly! There were 10 of us, and all of our meals were cooked to perfection, and came out it in a timely manner. The bartender did an excellent job with all of our drinks! The best part, however, was our waitress! That woman was on top of EVERYTHING! She took care of us like we were a party of 2! Not once did any of us wait for an app, meal, or drink. I will be coming back many more times, and telling everyone to do the same!

An absolute gem! The food was authentic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor—everything tasted like it was made with care and tradition. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere made us feel right at home. It was the most welcoming place we’ve ever been. One of the best Portuguese meals I’ve had from dinner to dessert! Highly recommend!

I recently organized an event in their function room. It was a group of less then 25 people. From beginning to end, Fatima, the manager of events and her staff were so helpful. They were accessible and friendly. The persons whom the event was for, were very pleased. It was a success and a good time. Company was great, but the service, delicious food and staff made it better. Thank you so much for you hard work.

The Pearl is one of those local, Portuguese American restaurants that offers authentic foods and a comfy atmosphere.
My favorite go-to dish is the linguica dip…so cheesy and delish! It is served with crostini but I switch those out for tortilla chips. Sometimes add boiled potatoes and stuff a piece along with the dip into a soft mini Papos Secos. Yuuummmmm!!
The bartenders are attentive and friendly, especially Dan. They can create any cocktail you desire.
The owner, Odette, and manager, Fatima, create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure their staff provide attentive, friendly, professional service for their guests.
There is live music most Friday nights. The musicians are set up in a corner of the bar area and the volume is generally over-the-top loud so if that doesn’t bother, you’ll enjoy it.
Whether you have a date night, gathering with friends, or a special event, The Pearl is a place to enjoy great food and fun.
