The man at the front was super nice and welcoming, the FOOD is amazing and the portions are huge. I paid 42$ for a ginormous steak burrito, a shrimp steak and chicken burrito and chips and salsa. Amazing deal considering the prices of anything these days. Definitely recommended for a quick bite or a sit down with the family.

The Patron is located within a mile of the Richmond Airport and the service was excellent! They also have a vegetarian menu, plenty of parking and neat decor within the restaurant! We loved the salsa that came with the chips as we were seated and we were in and out within 30 minutes! The menu was fairly large and staff were very friendly! You can order entrees or a-la-carte items if you’re just looking for sides/kids items. As someone who frequents the airport, we look forward to returning!

The atmosphere was perfectly fine – dark woods, heavy tiles, lots of handmade decor. The menu features a very extensive amount of choices, and pricing was a lot more affordable than I’d have guessed. I ordered chicken tamales and chile relleno. I received huge portions. Unfortunately both dishes were smothered with an obscene amount of white melted cheese. I spent a few minutes removing and discarding cheese just so I could get at the actual food. The red sauce is very good, as are the beans, tortilla chips, and house salsa. Everything else was pretty sub-par. Tamales have a strange texture and taste, and the chicken had a strange color and flavor. The chile relleno was impossible to cut with a fork – tough, stringy, and full of the same white cheese. I ended up eating a lot of chips, all the beans, some rice, and maybe a third of the tamales and relleno. I hope the other foods are better – burritos, tacos, enchiladas. Based on the food I had I would probably not return. Service was fine and pricing was really great.

Been a couple of times to this restaurant, food is very good, had their chile verde, fajitas, patrón plater, all was very good. The only complaint is the price of a Don Julio 70 shot, $18 when a bottle costs $60, no mixing involved?
Service is professional and attentive.

An excellent choice for a flavor packed dinner. Dishes for everyone. Quick seating and great service. Their options of beef, chicken, pork and seafood in the multitude of their dishes is excellent. Not to mention their well crafted drinks and the excellent choices of desserts. Starting the meal with tablesidr guacamole is a must. Tie your meal off with one of their mouth watering desserts. You won’t be disappointed. Good sized portions. Could be shared if you so desire.

Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Reminds me of a restaurant from my hometown. Good food portions, great happy hour specials, everything is seasoned well and has lots of flavor. Definitely one of my go-to spots

Great place. Came after work for dinner and sat at bar. Chips and salsa brought as soon as I sat down. Salsa was delicious but chips were smaller bits and desired more whole chips. Got burrito California with steak for dinner and was huge. Came with rice and re fried beans. 100% worth the trip. Authentic Mexican food with huge portions

Everything about this place is good that goes for the service, price,& food. They have lunch specials from 11am-3pm & happy hour sun-thur from 2pm-7pm. The queso is delicious I wish they served it in bigger sizes. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem & a vibe

Second and last time being here. I ordered coke soda and it was syrupy. I explained I didn’t like it and why and changed to water. I was still charged for the coke even though I didn’t drink it. Both waitress and manager refused to take it off the bill. The manager said that it was” not their problem, but that it was mine”. Food was decent, but service was not good. The first time it was but not this time. Last time!

I wish I didn’t live 8 hours away because I would eat here every day if I could!

Staff: absolutely wonderful & friendly!

food and drink: I wasn’t prepared for that level of amazing. My hubby and I had just spent the past several days with essentially no sleep working hard to bring my 1st fashion runway collection to life. It was our last day in the area and we wanted to reward ourselves for all our hard work. This was the perfect end to our trip. I sincerely want to thank the entire staff for a wonderful experience and food that was TO DIE FOR.

I work at a winery/bistro, so I understand the stresses of such a job, and how much it means to be appreciated. So I want to share my appreciation to this staff for being so kind, attentive, and delivering a fantastic meal/experience. You are awesome at what you do!!!
