I want to start by saying the service was good, but with this being my first visit I walked in & didn’t know it was a seat yourself place. I was checking the specials menu and when I eventually sat down & was genuinely surprised when I got a rather loaded menu. Looking online I couldn’t find a menu anywhere & even there facebook page essentially only mentions the specials so I thought the dozen or so specials listed on the board were the menu.

I ended up getting the 8oz Sirloin with a baked potato & a side salad, which is one of their standing specials. Unfortunately I’m very disappointed in the food. The salad was drenched in sauce to the point where I effectively had a ranch soup and the baked potato was really over done. I’m fairly certain they pre-baked it & just heated it up when ordered as it was incredibly dry & hard around the edges. I couldn’t finish the steak, left 4-5oz on the plate. I ordered medium rare but it was more rare than I would’ve liked and when I received it the steak was room temp. It was unfortunately another heat up job I believe.

That being said it was not all bad. The sweet tea was exactly what I wanted, the waitress Cindy was very nice, and I liked some of the smaller things they did. For example, the salad had tomato quarters & the steak had a blood orange twist as a garnish.

Altogether The Patio has the small town vibe you would expect, and that certainly is part of the charm, but the menu is stuffed & the food was edible, but regrettable. Maybe it was having an off day and next time I’ll try the sea food.

Lots of seating and a large menu with many seafood items and Asian dishes.

We had Crawfish Etouffee, 3 Large Crab Cakes, Grilled Cheese Sandwich w/Egg Roll, and Grilled Snapper w/Shrimp. The etouffee and snapper were good. The Crab Cakes were different than Crab Cakes I’ve tasted in other places. I wasn’t crazy about them.

Service was good. Our waiter was friendly and the wait was not too long.

I ordered the shrimp and chicken fried rice (had to pay extra for shrimp) the shrimp were overcooked tiny little rubbery pieces that smelled super fishy. The whole plate had no flavor and just smelled awful. My husband got grilled catfish and shrimp. His grilled shrimp were much larger than mine and kind of what I expected my shrimp to be, but they also lacked seasoning. His grilled catfish and veggies seemed like they had ZERO seasoning. This is the most awful bland seafood I’ve ever had and regret spending money on it.

Ordered hamburgers. Was very pleased with that suggestion from a good friend. Hamburgers are available with cheese, bacon, and fixings. Choice of fries or onion rings included.

One of the FEW restaurants where you can actually carry on a conversation without hollering.
Food is VERY good, inexpensive, and large portions.
Did I mention that the food is VERY good?
From chicken fried steak to fried shrimp platter to gumbo and etoufe to the boudin balls, I have yet to be disappointed. Grandson had the grilled tuna and he bragged on it.
Nice distraction from the array of Mexican food places in town.

I have to call this a 3.5… so I have rounded it down to 3 stars. The staff is good, not excellent. The food is good if you like primarily fried food. The seating and atmosphere is tepid at best. Not the cleanest restaurant around. The menu is very limited.

Worst experience ever…first time here and last.. we actually hate we chose this place. THE WAITER BROOKE WAS PROFESIONAL AS SHE COULD BE …now…my husband and I ordered food when it was brought out my fish was rubbery and my husband porkchop tasted like chemical… we asked for a different dish the manager SAM said no we must pay…even though we did not eat the food.. they said pay or call the police so the police was called..SAM said we must pay half because we ordered the food..SAM was upset they were bout to close when we came and they cut all their grills off etc..all that could had been said was we are closing this is all we will be able to fix due to our grills being cut off..but no she was rude never came to the table to make the matter right 16.22 for food we didn’t eat even though we tried to compromise and pay for the salad we ate SAM said no.. BAD BUISNESS WE WILL NEVER GO BACK NOR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO

Good food. It is what you would expect from a fast food seafood restaurant. The fish was cooked well and tasted very good. The shrimp were a nice size. The home made hand cut French fries were an extremely pleasant surprise. Service was very good and an overall pleasant experience.

Unable to give negative stars. Small parking area. Sticky tables horrible service. Waited for over ten minutes to get drinks after ordering. Food was nasty Dirty bathroom. This place should not be allowed to be in business. Don’t waste your time or money here.
