We take great pride in using only the finest quality ingredients freshly-prepared the old-fashioned way. We never cut corners! Our famous Barbecue Ribs and Rotisserie Chicken are always cooked fresh throughout the day, and our signature smoked meats – sliced Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Pulled Turkey – are seasoned and slow-cooked for hours. We make our own soups from scratch daily and we even grind and patty our own hamburgers. The way we do things may require extra effort, but we believe you can really taste the difference! For over 43 years, we continue to follow the same philosophy – quality, value, exceptional service and delicious barbecue!

This is a fairly regular stop for us. Great food and great options for the kids. We have really slowed going here because of service inconsistency issues. We typically do take out and have probably had half or more of our orders wrong. Missing items. Wrong items. It’s very, very common here. If you’re doing takeout, check your bag before you go. It’s gotten annoying to call them back for refunds when entire items are missing from our order.

You order at a counter, get a number, and they bring out your food, and take away your empty’s. Hungry? You won’t be when you leave! We’ve only been twice. My girlfriend loves the ribs. I’m a pulled pork or brisket guy and I absolutely LOATHE barbecue sauce, but The Patio gets it right! I’ve operated under the premise of “if you need bbq sauce it’s because you can’t cook” I have been proven wrong. First time experience, I had the tacos. I went with one of each of their pulled turkey, pulled pork, and brisket and they were amazing and delicious. Of course I needed an engine lift to get me out of my seat after as the tacos were ENORMOUS, but it was worth it. Just a hint of sauce. I had the brisket with a baked potato the second time and it’s pretty dang good! Definitely had leftovers. The atmosphere is pleasant, the place is pretty clean for a cafe style restaurant. And the decor is modern and tasteful. If you’re looking for a casual dinner and love barbecue, this place gives Weber Grill a run for their money. Have a look at The Patio’s menu online and see if anything catches your fancy. I have several return trips in mind to try each of the other items that caught my fancy!

We enjoyed a chicken sandwich with fries and coleslaw. I am picky when it comes to slaw and this was great, no complaints here! We got a corner table inside with large windows around us. It was mid-afternoon so not crowded but still busy and after one bite we understood why they have so much seating! This is the place to go, the smells were delicious. Next time we are in town, this is where we will be going for sure!

Portion sizes are too small for mac and cheese and the slice of cake was tiny for 6 bucks. The cake also tasted like it was several days old so I would not recommend that.

If we had a 10 point scale, this would be a solid 6. Just slightly above average, but not memorable. I wouldn’t be mad about eating here, but it won’t leave an impression. There’s plenty of parking, and plenty of seating including outdoor. So it’s a nice meet up spot that won’t offend anyone. But I wouldn’t date night here.

Staff is friendly. The food is a little more expensive, but I think it’s worth it since it comes out quickly and is of higher quality. I enjoy their variety of chicken sandwiches.
