This place has a really good happy hour! We dine here any time we’re at Fort Clinch State park. They offer 1/2 price on select appetizers, beer, and wine. Mixed drinks are $2 off as well. They had a pinacolada rita as the daily special. I went to the bar and asked if that drink was on special, thinking I was asking if it was discounted. The bartender said oh yes! When she delivered them, the cost was over $29 for 2 drinks at happy hour. We are retired and on a low budget, I was shocked. So we got 2 black and blue pizzas and nan bread for about $24 (great), but spent more on 2 drinks. Our waitress was really good, but I’m not happy with the bartender. It was a busy night so we waited about 40 minutes for a table. Outdoor seating is great and they had live music. Parking is challenging, and is now metered. I cannot recommend trying the daily drink special, too much $$$.

We had a lovely time at The Patio! We arrived & it was a bit confusing when putting our name in for a table but it was quickly resolved. We had a drink at the bar & then moved to a table on the patio once it was available. Everything was fantastic!
We were meeting with friends we hadn’t been with for awhile & never felt rushed as we had appetizers, cocktails, & a meal over an extended period of time. Great service, great atmosphere & great food! I only took a pic of my Crab Dip but everyone loved their food & we all loved the Drunken Cheesy Bread! The live music really added to the ambiance. (Note that parking can be tricky – we lucked out with a free spot but it is mostly pay parking & sparse options.)

We came during chilly early February so we opted to sit inside. Even on a weekday the tables were full so we sat at the bar. We got very attentive and friendly service from the bartender. The food and drinks were great. My strawberry lemonade actually had muddled strawberry in it. The large Bavarian pretzel was warm and delicious with mustard and beer cheese dips. The clams casino were tender little clams with delicious toppings and the thick rich crab bisque was divine. Overall great experience at this popular restaurant, highly recommend!

The redfish was amazing and the brussel sprouts were soooo good. Service was great. Our waitress recommended the redfish. The worst part was the wait, which was 45 minutes and there is nowhere to wait for your table so there are a lot of people standing outside right next to where you’re eating on the patio. We ended up taking a walk around the historic downtown since we would be alerted by text when our table was ready. Definitely worth trying 🙂

Their red fish was out of this world! As well as the shrimp and grits… the best I’ve had outside of Charleston.
Enjoyed live music dining al fresco… and the best part: with our puppy dog!

This restaurant is a casual and cozy spot with great lunch and dinner entrees, including a great cocktail list, appetizers and desserts. We arrived between 3 and 6PM, when most appetizers, wines and beers are half price. A must to try is their drunken cheesy bread and tomato bisque soup. Our grouper sandwiches ( blackened) were large and tasty while the crab cakes had plenty of crab and little breading. The berry and beet salads were top notch. This is a popular spot in Amelia Island so don’t pass it up when in town.

Brunch here was wonderful! This place fills up fast so I suggest going early. Indoor and outdoor seating is available too. The food was very flavourful and tasty. Portion size was generous and filling. The waitresses we interacted with were both quick, efficient, attentive, and friendly.

Seriously one of the best restaurants on the beach. My wife and I were in town for 3 days over the holidays. We ate here every day. Happy hour is great, get the meatballs and the bread. Staff was great. Huge shoutout to Devon. Thanks again

We will not be back. We had the most confusing experience at this restaurant. Our waitress got our check wrong 4 times. She didn’t know the specials or the prices. When asked if the pesto had tree nuts in it she replied with “no real nuts”. Someone dumped dog water in a plant behind my father and it splashed on him. The crab cakes were subpar at best. The roll with the chicken salad was hard and stale. The meatball sandwich was the only decent meal there. We saw pizza boxes going out constantly with no pizza on the menu. A ladies dog obnoxiously barked at the table next to us for 10 minutes. It was not great.
