The original pasty is the BEST!! Pam (the owner) always has our order ready to pick up at the end of our beach day. Hot Pastys are ready to eat. And frozen are great to have on hand for a quick yummy lunch or dinner. Don’t forget to ask for gravy. One visit there and you’ll be hooked!

Homemade pasties were soo delish. Tried the traditional and steak, both are delicious. The gravy is good too. Nice and friendly owner. Glad we found this hidden gem in Englewood.

I am a huge person of tradition and I have to say since I moved to Florida I have been missing that traditional Cornish pasty taste. Pam was so amazing she gave me back what I’ve been missing for the last 10 years and gave me a good taste of home so I thank her very much for being open and I appreciate her pricing and the quality of the food was incredible.

Purchased 2 beef pasties. Mine meat was all grisly and my husband had 2 small bits. Drove over 100 miles because we miss Michigan. Was a severe disappointment.

It’s pronounced passs treee not pastry. These meat pie come from the miners in England. It was a great find! I also had a piece of the lemon bar is was fresh and tasty.

I came here while on vacation, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Pasties were phenomenal and brought me right back to being in Michigan. Definitely a highlight of my trip!

I really enjoyed their chicken cordon bleu pasty. It was the perfect size and felt so comforting to eat. The shop itself is a bit small but the owner is very friendly. It’s also close to my job so I plan to stop there again for lunch

We’re from Michigan and have had plenty of Upper Peninsula pasties over the years. I can honestly say that the Englewood Pasty Shop is as authentic as anything served in Michigan. Hard to believe, but it’s true! It’s not really a restaurant, but there are a couple of small tables. It’s primarily pick-up. They offer several varieties, but beef is the best. Store has the charm of an actual Upper Peninsula road-side store.
