We found this shop while looking for a quick bite to eat, and we were not disappointed.
We tried the Reuben, and the BBQ Smokehouse Pastrami. Both sandwiches were full of flavor and you could tell how much they love to make great food. The couple running the shop were lovely and their service and dedication had us going back the next day so we could bring some home. (If we were locals this would be on our list of places to go weekly)

Didn’t take any pics, but if you like pastrami this is hands down the best pastrami sandwich I have ever had. Quality products, and love are definitely used here.

A nice Russian family owned legit pastrami spot. I absolutely loved their Rueben pastrami sandwich made with the homemade Russian sauce. The couple was very warm and welcoming. The portion sizes were more than enough. The prices were affordable. I miss this place and the couple as well. The husband was super personable. The good variety pop music played in the background. The quick quality food service. The sandwiches here are delicious and couple was always customer friendly to me. The best sandwich spot in Rocklin.

This place has been on my radar for quite some time, but never made the trek there for one reason or another. However, my buddy and I made it a point to get here today as we were both craving some good Pastrami.

Let me start right off the bat… this place looks like a total dive with an old school motif. It’s small, but don’t let that fool you. The food was amazing! Their menu is short, which I love because that usually means they do what they do best.

My buddy and I split a Pastrami Rueben on a roll. Their sandwiches are huge! Everything was tasty, warm (hot actually), and had a perfect balance of meat, cheese, sauce, and sauerkraut.

It came with a side of pickles and pickled peppers which were delicious. We did get an order of their potato wedges as well.

Both my buddy and I are a bit critical when it comes to good pastrami, so I can assure you this isn’t some store bought meat sitting in a pan for hours on end. It was fresh, plus having been freshly heated on the bread… these guys know how to make a good sandwich.

The best pastrami shop in the greater Sacramento area! Very cozy family owned and run business that has been a reliable stop for me whenever I happen to be in the area. One of the full sandwiches could easily feed you twice or fill you for entire day!

These sandwiches are delicious! My wife and I got the classic pastrami and pastrami Ruben. The bread is sooo good. Soft and have a little bit of chew that makes you want to take another bite every time. The slices of pastrami is a nice surprise in every bite. They have some thick slices and some small ones so the texture profile with the meat and bread is on point. I highly recommend this spot and they are very COVID safe.

The pastrami sandwiches are awesome! The pastrami is perfectly sliced (thin) and the flavor is spot on! The bread (I had rye and my husband had the Italian bread) was nice and fresh. The coleslaw was perfectly made and not soupy. The owners are wonderful! They are kind, friendly and helpful. You can not miss out eating here. I’m just sorry it took me so long to try this place.

I am a Reuben lover. It’s more difficult than it should be to find a good Reuben around here. The place smelled “old” and not fresh when I walked in and was kind of dingy but I’m all for a family owned business. I was greeted by a sweet older man and woman. They were super kind, telling me it was the best Reuben ever as I seemed a little unsure but excited to potentially find a hidden gem. Unfortunately, I am not a fan. I feel like someone would only like this if they’ve never had a “real” Reuben. True Reubens are juicy, fresh, and sooo flavorful with that saltiness and then tangy dripping sauce, melty cheese, and high stacked pastrami on lightly toasted bread. True Reubens are ooey gooey flavorful bliss. Now to the Reuben I received from this place… it was dry, yes stacked pastrami but only making it look like a lot of pastrami due to the extra layer of soggy bread in the middle… like Big Mac style, yuck. Not a lot of cheese and definitely missing that tangy thousand island dressing. It was supposed to be on there, I think I saw it BUT there was barely any. It was so salty and I LOVE salt but that’s literally all I could taste was a ton of salt and a lot of bread! Saurkraut was cheap store bought, nothing special. I really wish I could give this place a better review but for a $20 sandwhich after a couple dollar tip this was nowhere worth it. I don’t think I’d pay even $10 for a sandwhich like that. Arby’s used to have a Reuben (I don’t know if they still do) and that was better than this. I can’t recommend much of anything when it comes to places around here with a good Reuben but the Beach Hut Reuben is much better than this and worth trying before this place.

Flamethrower Kelly told me the best pastrami he’s ever had was from the Pastrami Ship in Roseville…Well, I flat out didn’t believe him! Did they cure it themselves and smoke it too I asked?
The Flamethrower didn’t know, so I asked what made it so special?
He thought hard about it, and finally said…Okay, it’s the first time I’ve ever had pastrami, and that makes it the best I’ve ever had! Well…I was in Sactown anyway so I made a Lickity Split to the Pastrami Shop in Roseville and had an Amazing sandwich! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Got the full pastrami Reuben and coleslaw. Been eating Reuben sandwiches all my life and they do it right here. Coleslaw was delicious and fresh. The owners are so kind and sweet, like being served by family, helped make our stop extra wonderful and special. 10/10 recommend, will be back again whenever I’m in the area.

I ordered the Full Pastrami today, no cheese but with mustard and pickles. Thus was my first time ordering and the older gentleman that took my order said that thus Pastrami would be the best I’ve ever had. So far the best Pastrami I have ever had is from The Hat In Southern California. The Pastrami today was very dry, no juice, and I got no pickles, just some dry Pastrami meat with mustard on a foot long bun. $21. Very, very disappointed and will not be returning thumbs down
