Had to check this place out. Read about them in the local City Paper. The sandwich options are plentiful, atmosphere cozy and the staff are very friendly. The sandwiches though . You won’t disappointed. Glad we’ll have “The Pass” in Mt. Pleasant soon.
Three thumbs up and 5 Stars from the Mrs. and me 🙂

Loved, loved, loved this sandwich shop! We tried two different sandwiches — both were incredibly fresh and delicious. The cannoli was hands down the best and most authentic I’ve had in Charleston. The owner was so personable and took the time to chat with us, which made the experience even better. Absolutely love this spot and can’t wait to come back!

I arrived at the Pass a little after 2 pm on a Friday and they were sold out of all greens so no salad or greens on the sandwich so I ordered the The Panino di Basilico. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful and I see why they are busy. By the time I arrived the place was pretty empty and they closed shortly after due to selling out of items. So I definitely recommend this place for the fresh and tasty sandwich and recommend going earlier in the day to avoid disappointment.

Sandwiches are so good. Mine was #39 it is warm and melt with the tomato spread really awesome. The other was basil chicken-tasty and perfect. The ciabatta bread is crispy and soft exactly as it needed for this sandwich. When uou are there focus on the sandwiches!!!

The pass makes delicious sandwiches. Pretty small shop that gets busy around lunch so try and arrive early. Awesome sandwich menu with a good selection of chips and drinks. Any sandwich can be ordered on focaccia.

My wife and I are always on the lookout for great sandwiches, and this place definitely delivered. We tried their two specials—the “Such a Nice Italian Boy” and the “Italian Girl.” They were $17 each, but that’s very standard in Charleston these days. The difference is most spots don’t live up to the hype, and the food often feels way overrated for the price. Not here. These sandwiches were absolutely packed with super fresh, high-quality ingredients, and tasted like the real deal. Tony Soprano would be ordering that Gabagool from here. Totally worth it. We’ll definitely be back.

The pass is not your average neighborhood sandwich shop. This place is rolling out fresh ingredients and I’m here to tell you it’s LEGIT! I got the “Such a Nice Italian Boy” The burrata on a sandwich is pure genius. Every bite is a glimpse of Chef Anthony Marini’s fine dining roots. I can’t wait to try more. Also the @drinkfizza Blood Orange kombucha was amazing.
Highly Recommend you stop in for a to go sandwich or enjoy the comfortable sitting area.

This sandwich place is TOP! The owner is Italian, works there and sure thing he knows a good taste. Fresh and good combination of ingredients cannot get less than 10/10!! Very tasty both Italian girl and Italian guy.
I asked to change the vinaigrette sauce (since I don’t like it) to the garlic at Italian Girl and I didn’t miss it, it was great. There is seats at the normal big table and bar seats as well, overall about 20 seats so you can hang up inside.
The shops design is awesome as well because it’s very practical but yet cute and matching up the vibe.
I want to come back there for a special now!
