My partner and I along with my daughter stopped in the Havana Parilla thinking we were at the Havana next door. We quickly realized our error but stayed because the menu looked good and the food smelled amazing. The three of us started with the grilled ceasar, the gambas shrimp and the arrachera to share. WOW. So good! We then ordered the mixed grill and another order of the shrimp (the bread and sauce it comes with were so tasty we wanted more). We loved everything so much and were very full, but was there room for dessert?? Considering how happy we were with literally everything we decided to share La Pera. The BEST dessert ever. Just look at the picture A+ in presentation AND taste. Please, do not miss your chance to eat here.

This place is attached to the Havana restaurant. It’s the outdoor section. Foods were excellent. Our favorite was the salad. The desserts were the stars of the meal. Nice change from eating lobster rolls & lobster bake during our trip to Acadia NP. Street parking can be challenging during holidays.

We’ve been to Havana before, but without reservations, we decided to try their more casual sister restaurant, The Parrilla. It was one of the BEST meals on our two week trip. I got the steak and my husband got the smash burger. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and my husband said the burger was one of the tastiest burgers he’s had anywhere/ever. The Parrilla also has great cocktails and an excellent wine list. Highly recommended!

Honestly such a delightful and delicious meal. Bartender was excellent and accommodating with my off menu drink requests. Food was fresh and very flavorful! Would come again for sure.

A Bar Harbor must visit. It’s such a wonderful thing to come back to a place time after time, year after year, and see the same folks working behind the bar, on the floor, and in the kitchen. It also helps that the drinks are cold, the food is amazing, and the vibes are incredible. Do yourself a favor and stop by, chat with your neighbor, say hey to the bartender, then listen in to that table over there and catch some of the Vacationland gossip.

We stopped in for an afternoon cocktail upon the recommendation of a Bar Habor local. Atmosphere was fantastic & conversation with the bar tender made the stop!! Highly suggest a Paloma!! Thank you Harley for a well spent happy hour!

Food is pretty good. A bit overpriced but acceptable. The service is hit or miss. I don’t know if it was our waitress or everyone who works there, but it was extremely slow. Food took super long (we were the only one there for the first half of our time), the check took crazy long to get (15 minutes after we asked), food never cleared after it sat in front of us for at least 20 minutes, and water was never refilled until we asked. It was bizarre. I realize some restaurants are like this but when you’re paying very high prices, you expect high service.

This place was mostly empty at 5:30 on a Friday when we went. Got a great margarita and some delicious tapas. They had a good menu and few yummy specials, and we found prices to be very reasonable.

Amazing food & service! You must go see Harley or Arielle to have the best margarita in Bar Harbor! The mixed grill was so good that we went two nights in a row! It’s a must try!! I forgot to take pics! 🙁
