Roasted cauliflower is off the charts good. Steak salad had perfectly cooked steak, but was light on seasoning. Dressing was a bit underwhelming. Sushi was excellent considering it’s not a Japanese restaurant, really enjoyed my roll. Service was initially quick, but got pretty slow after that. Had to ask another waitress to ping our waitress after a long wait when we were done.
Almost none of this matters, though, because their ice cream selection is spectacular, along with toppings and sauces.
Heading back there for breakfast now to give them another try.

This awesome rustic and beach Bistro just opened this year & it is an awesome spot! Open until 3 pm which leaves enough time for a morning cup of coffee, a delicious breakfast or a yummy ice cream cone! I brought my lap top here in the morning to get some work done and enjoyed a crispy, airy croissant while working. Cute environment, beautifully decorated with much thought. Creative menu and maybe choices to pick from!

My husband and I had a chance to have dinner here during the busy Labor Day weekend. I made an early reservation and when we walked in it was empty. There was a larger table that was seated after us, but that was it. For appetizers I had their LARGE Caesar salad, my husband had their ahi tuna ceviche and my sister had the buffalo cauliflower. The portions were very generous and the food was excellent. For dinner I had their garlic parmesan wings, my husband had the burger and my sister had one of their sushi rolls. Again everything was just delicious. It is a BYOB but if you are in Lavallette be sure to check this place out. Its a secret little hidden gem.

Highly recommended. Server was super friendly! They let me in with my dog and gave him some complimentary bacon. The Aristocrat sandwich I tried was a grilled cheese with blueberries — unusual combination and super delicious!

One of the best assortments for a small ice cream shops we’ve ever been to! All of their ice cream looked (and tasted) incredible! Staff was super friendly and patient with our group of 4 adults and 4 kids.

WOW! Definitely 5 stars! Delicious, flavorful, fresh… this place is amazing! I had one of the dinner specials.. scallops with an avocado cucumber salad. I would say they were the best scallops I’ve ever had. I wish I had more!
My husband got the NY strip and said it was also fabulous! It is a BYOB and is dog friendly! And then we obviously followed it up with some ice cream! Everything was fabulous!!!
I can’t wait to go back to try the sushi!

After not being able to be seated at 2 other restaurants we decided to try The Parlor for dinner. It was spacious, comfortable, and had pleasant wait staff. The food, appetizers and dinner, were outstanding. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised and satisfied with everything we ordered. The kitchen definitely knows what they’re doing and their care and creativity showed. Amazing place!

Went here with my family last night and was pleasantly surprised! We had the jersey corn, empanadas, and Cobb Salad as appetizers, the highlight being the corn. For entrees we had the ahi tuna, the shrimp pasta, and the French chicken, all of which were fresh and delicious.
Our sever, Sophia was accommodating, friendly and provided great service.
All around, awesome food and a great experience. We look forward to dining here every year!

1st review…Good brunch. Good service. Enjoyed dining outside. Originally rated 4 stars.
2nd review…Went about a month after this and they were short staffed. Breakfast took over an hour and came food came out one dish at a time. First dish was cold, and we had to send back. They did fix it very quickly though, and what we ate was tasty.

My husband and I ate breakfast there this morning and it was delicious. We were quickly seated outside. Coffee was great. I ordered the croissant sandwich with egg, cheese, prosciutto and avocado. The croissant was delicious and flaky- such a tasty sandwich. My husband ordered the eggs in a basket with a side of bacon. Very tasty and the bacon was so crispy and flavorful. Can’t wait to go back
