Stopped in on a Saturday night after attending an event nearby. Loved the atmosphere and vibe. Tables packed with groups of friends. Service was fast and friendly. Burgers/seasoned fries were great and I hate I didn’t get a pic of the chicken and dumplings served over mashed potatoes. Prices were good.

The Park Diner is a 10/10 and is everything a diner should be! Friendly service with a great sense of humor. Food never misses the mark. Awesome burger deal, love the bowls, and shawarma! Definitely made with lots of love. Best soda pop selection too. Hannah, Izzy, and Francis are amazing! They always make my visit a wonderful time and have turned me into a Park Diner fan forever!

Been going to The Park Diner for lunch on the regular and have been consistently delighted. Highly recommend checking out whatever is on the specials board AND in the dessert case. But honestly? You can’t go wrong. Great vegetarian options to boot. Note: Sides are large portions — split with friends!

We came in on a Sunday afternoon super excited to try the food seeing great reviews. After we ordered and received our food we told the manager our burgers were charred (because they quite literally were black) and he looked and agreed and he had the cook remake them. When the cook came up to us she was very rude taking our orders and she proceeded to go talk about us with her kitchen crew and soon after they began giving us dirty looks and rolling their eyes. My girlfriend ordered a plain cheese burger and I asked for sauce on the side and when we got our second order back my girlfriend’s burger was smothered in stuff and when the cook handed us out food, she rudely said “who got which burger.” When we saw everything on it we didn’t want to be rude so we kindly walked out with no intention of arguing with them or getting a refund. On the way out the cook yelled in front of the whole restaurant that we were very rude, and embarrassed us in front of the everyone in there, yet failed to mention she had not only messed our food up once but twice. I paid $35 for us to eat fries. WORST experience ever. My girlfriend left in tears and shaking from anxiety. We were nothing but nice, with my girlfriend calling the cook over privately to ask for her to remake our burgers so she didn’t feel embarrassed all the while apologizing when we did nothing wrong. Even then, she had a terrible attitude. The hostess rolled her eyes multiple times at us as well. The food was bad, and the service was even worse.

What kind of response is this to a genuine experience that happened? We were nothing but kind and PATIENT. We were also so excited to try a new restaurant and SUPPORT your business. Our food was burnt at first, so we kindly asked for it to be remade. When we got the new food, my burger was smothered in sauce, pickles, and something else that I believe was onions when I asked for it to be plain. My partner also asked for his sauce to be on the side instead of on his burger (to dip his fries in) yet it was on his burger instead. Once again, I was very nice about it and even apologized for asking them to be remade. I would never have just not eaten it for no reason, it’s because it was made wrong. Since we didn’t want to send the food back once again and make the cook re-do it for the third time, we figured the best option would be to leave. We paid when we ordered originally and did not ask for a refund, just simply wanted to leave. Instead, we were yelled at and called rude! I was in tears as I left because I was so anxious about making the cook upset even though it was her mistake. This is the first time I’ve ever left a review for an establishment, and the first time I’ve been treated this way in general. We are not difficult people, and its our first time here so there’s no way you could say we are “difficult people everywhere we go” because we’ve never met any of you before! And for you to say we look stupid as well? Completely unprofessional. Strange how you delete your reply because you know how it’ll make your restaurant and staff look.

I live in the neighborhood and stop by once every other month. The experience is always good but the food is hit or miss. The staff is very friendly and usually your food comes fast and is fresh off the grill. Prices are fair. I’ve had overcooked and over seasoned fries. One morning I was served rock hard breakfast biscuits. The interior is cool and interesting but sometimes dirty. Also they hide the dish drop off in the back of the shop so please have mercy on the new customers who don’t clear their own table.

Stopped in Sunday afternoon. Food was great, service was friendly and accommodating, and the diner itself is very cute. Definitely recommend the breakfast burger with any array of the many hot sauces they have available!

Very fun local, historic diner. Staff is fabulous, and food is delish. We visited on a Sunday; the full menu was not available – breakfast/brunch foods plus their burger special only. Our group had the breakfast bowl, the breakfast burrito, and 2 burger specials. Thumbs up all around. Coffee was good, too!
