I have been wanting to come here and it was well worth the wait!!! I ordered the Blue Lagoon Hot on a croissant with tomatoes. My daughter ordered the Man in Black Hat. The food was made fresh and it was quick to get out.
The flavors were amazing, the portions were enough for a hungry person but not so much that you walk out feeling over stuffed.
Pricing was reasonable for the size, freshness and quality of the sandwich.
I have seen ads for this restaurant and I am so glad I finally made it. I’ll definitely be back.

I had the Cuban sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. I topped it off with a huge chocolate chip cookie — easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The shop is small but full of character, and I loved the exposed brick interior. Easy ride from the UF Heart and Vascular Hospital where we are visiting our mom.
They’ve even been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, which says a lot on its own. The menu has just the right amount of variety without being overwhelming. From what I’ve read, they have multiple locations around Gainesville, so I can’t wait to visit again. Definitely stop in and try their pressed sandwiches — you won’t regret it!

Good sammiches. Reasonable price. This place was on food channel is why we went. However I got boot on truck from towing company. Cost 80 dollars to get it off. I parked in an empty parking lot and walked 3 blocks to eat here. The guy hides till you walk off then boots your car. 5 other cars around me all had boots on there car. Park in nearby parking garage.

Super impressed with this place. Unique packaging, DELICIOUS high quality deli meats. The pork was to die for. The bread is amazing and love how they toast & flatten them, and they even cut them into triangles which I love. I got the Cuban sandwich and it was absolutely delicious, amazing flavor. The paper bag is something special from their incredible social media presence to multiple locations across Gainesville serving up delicious sandwiches for the people. The downtown location is tucked just off Main Street and is an absolute diamond in the rough the parking may be spotty at times but the food is definitely worth walking from the parking garage nearby. I got the Tre way and it is phenomenal genuinely an amazing sandwich. The bread is fresh the pickled Vidalia onions are sweet with just a slight bit of acidity the glaze on the burnt ends and pork belly is absolutely fantastic there’s a good reason their featured on the Food Network. You can’t fake the funk and baby im grooving 10/10 bring your in-laws here, bring your extended family, bring your neighbors everyone should experience a tasty sandwich such as this!

A huge variety of great sandwiches! We had turkey pastrami sandwich and Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich. Good taste, good portion size. I assure you, they taste better than in the pictures. The staff was super friendly.

I been calling this the brown bag deli for like a few weeks now. But it is very good. I got the soprano because well Tony soprano. My wife had the like French toast breakfast thing. I this she was out of her got danged mind telling me she was getting that stuff in there uh huh. But it turned out to be rather delicious. (She let me have a bite)
The staff was kind of the food was prompt. And they had a large hot sauce selection. I enjoyed the hip hop basement ambiance and would highly recommend it to anyone

This is an amazing sandwich shop. I have yet to have something that wasn’t delicious. They obviously put a lot of thought and care into their menu. You can tell they have worked making their sandwiches special with the combinations they have put together and the ingredients. I will say if you want to have a full meal, go for the Godfather edition of what ever you order because it will have more meat and cheese.

I just ordered a catered lunch for our staff from here for the first time (won’t be the last) and it was so good. I arrived at 11:00 as we agreed and it was sitting there waiting for me, I paid my bill and was about to have to figure out a way to get it all to my vehicle as I had to park a block away. I didn’t even have a second to think about how I was going to do this and a gentleman came from around the counter, grabbed a few of the bags and asked where my vehicle was. I got the food back to the office and everyone kept asking where was this from. The bread and rolls were so fresh and the meats were delicious. How this place has 4.9 stars in lieu of 5.0 has me scratching my head. BEST DELI FOOD AND STAFF IN ALACHUA COUNTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
