Truly a delightful place to stop by for lunch. After a day of sightseeing, I wanted to go locally to have a nice meal without trekking a long ways. The Pantry fit the bill as the ambiance reminded me of one of the restaurants I visited in Southern France.

The staff were friendly and made great recommendations from the menu. I liked that it wan’t a huge restaurant so it had a warm and cozy feeling to it.

I loved the lobster roll and rose spritz that I had. Everything was tasty and enjoyed my lunch. I would definitely be back again to try other items off the menu.

Had a wonderful dinner at the Pantry. We started with an Asian flare comprising of two small dishes the first Tuna Tataki with endives and eggplant. The Asian dressing changed the eggplant into little bursts of flavour that complemented the lightly seared tuna for a perfect bite. The cucumber salad again with an Asian soy dressing had my wife and I trying to guess how we could recreate the dish at home.

We split a half a fried chicken for two which was both delicious and reasonably priced (a combination not often seen in PS). It was accompanied by vegetables a salad and two delicious biscuits.

We sat on the patio perfectly comfortable and enjoyed the evening sipping on margaritas and cremant.

One of our favourite hidden gems in Palm Springs.

We arrived at 5 with a reservation and we were the only 2 people in the place for at least 20 minutes. There were two servers and when we left it was still only a third full.

Our water glasses were not refilled.
I wasn’t offered another cocktail.
No one asked how our email was.
We weren’t offered dessert.

Service was very disappointing.
Fried chicken was good. The sauce with it was inedible.
The broccolini was very good.
My husband liked his salmon.

It’s too bad this was such a disappointment because the place is really cute . Fortunately there are plenty of other cute places with good service and food in Palm Springs.

this is one of my go to restaurants when in town:great atmosphere; great service; great food and small venue thats outside (=low noise, no batchelorette parties). Most bad reviews here seem to be due to prices (welcome to PS), over 21 policy (another plus for me) and normal piortions (go to Claim Jumper if big food is important). Love this place

I have been to this place a few times, and the food is very good.
The reason for my poor rating is that I got rejected at the door with my family on Mother’s Day because my 5 year old daughter was with us and they don’t want kids in their restaurant.
While they say they don’t want kids on their website, there is no mention of it in the reservation channel I have used: their Google maps description does not mention it, nor the reservation link from Google maps. I was left with my family with no other plan for mother’s day. I really have difficulties with places intolerants with kids and don’t understand why they don’t mention it on all of the reservation channels they propose. Will never go back.
I find other mentions, in the reviews, of people rejected at the door for the same reason. If they cared about their guests, at least they should update their description in Maps with their no-kid policies

We visited here just for lunch and it was perfect. We didn’t get names unfortunately, but the server was very nice and the assumed to be GM (he said he was new) was fantastic! He was thoughtful, friendly, and attentive. We really appreciated all the great service and atmosphere for my mom’s bday lunch. Food was great, definitely recommend! Cheers!

A wonderful wonderful evening – Chris helped us make a reservation that could work for our party and Ethan, our server was so amazing with his recommendations, delicious cocktails and his lovely demeanour. We had the best time at this beautiful spot.

The atmosphere here is really nice and I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately the food is extremely over priced. The market salad starts at $16 for basically just lettuce. The menu advertises citrus but there was none. $2 to add a little bit of avocado and $6 to add some grilled chicken. It was really disappointing for a $24 salad. The tartine is tasty but also really small for the price.
