The Pancake Shop is a true Hot Springs classic—serving breakfast since 1940! The cozy, welcoming vibe hits you the second you walk in, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or faster.

I kicked things off with a hot chocolate piled high with whipped cream. For breakfast, we ordered a cheese and bacon omelet with toast and a stack of two chocolate chip pancakes. Y’all… these pancakes are massive. I barely made it through half, but they were so good—great flavor, great texture. The warm syrup and soft butter were the perfect finishing touch.

I also tried the apple butter they had on the table and WOW… that stuff is dangerous.

We went right around lunchtime and actually beat the usual long lines (a small miracle!).

If you haven’t been in a while, consider this your sign to go back! ✨

A must go when living or visiting Hot Springs. This time capsule takes you back to breakfast Nostalgia when you could taste the pride and passion in the food that was served. @thepancakeshop is one of the best breakfast spots in Arkansas. Homemade goodness and service with a smile. ❤️

Georgia took amazing care of us! It was so busy but we immediately got a seat and she was constantly filling up our coffee and water. The food itself was awesome! As you can see, we had a feast. The chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy with melted chocolate and the sausage…wow! They have house made sausage and it’s savory, lightly spicy, and matched with what we ate. They will get you in and out rapidly! Also, the french toast is deep fried and dissolves in your mouth.

Absolutely delicious! Friendly staff, Old-timey diner feel, great prices, and exceptional service. The kind of place that the locals go and tourists are highly welcomed. Higher recommended!

This restaurant gave me all the feels! I felt like I was stepping back in time to a pancake shoppe that my grandparents would have take me to. I loved the nostalgic atmosphere, the fast yet hospitable service and more importantly the delicious pancakes. I wish I had taken more pictures but I was caught up in the moment of enjoying my cup of coffee and cozying up with my kids on a rainy morning. Just wonderful. The wait wasn’t bad. Be prepared to have to pay to park.

The food was fresh and tasty — the pancakes were fluffy and the breakfast items were well-prepared. However, the atmosphere felt a bit crowded and the overall environment was not very comfortable. Service was okay, but could be more attentive. It’s a nice spot to try once if you’re in the area and want a classic breakfast experience.

Awesome retro pancake place. Feels like the kind of place you would go with your family on a Saturday morning. Buckwheat pancakes with banana were great and fueled our hike through the park. Restaurant is a little crowded and loud.

We LOVE breakfast places and Hot Springs has no shortage of them, but when we saw reviews for The Pancake Shop we knew we had to try it. We went at about 8:30 on a Friday morning. While there was no wait, we did accept spots at the little bar they had. Be warned that the Pancake Shop is known to have a wait but they’ll take your name down and come outside and call for you, even at the 2 shops next door on either side. The staff was very nice but it’s about elbow room only. The fresh squeezed orange juice tastes AMAZINGLY fresh. We HAD to try a pancake, of course. It tastes like it’s made with applesauce. Very light and airy. We had a veggie omelet and sausage patties (locally sources, filling, and not greasy), scrambled eggs and white toast and coffee. I also had grapefruit juice. The apple butter that comes with the toast is also amazing. Highly recommend, they close at 1pm so don’t plan to go after noon!!
