Stopped by the Paddle Trap late this afternoon with my son. I’ve eaten here before, but he hadn’t. We went around 4:30 and were seated right away. By the time we left, the place was filling up inside and out. Reservations are recommended during the dinner/supper hours. Restaurant has an open floor concept with plenty of room. Patio seats more people with a view of the river. We dined inside because it’s wasp season. Lol. Food was delicious and our server Lexus was AMAZING!

Was looking for breakfast even though it’s dinner time. This place popped up on Google. I saw the s’mores dessert and said to myself, ” even if they don’t serve breakfast all day I’m going there.” I was so stoked when I saw the #IGLOOdining on the deck. After I was seated Frisco took my order. I asked if they have bacon because I want to order some for my dog that’s out in my campervan. Frisco told me that Romeo could come dine in the Igloo with me. He even offered me a pet menu! Wow! I LOVE pet friendly restaurants. I was trying to eat on a budget. I started with a warm Spiked Spiced Pumpkin Latte. Delicious. Decided on the walleye sandwich, prepared blackened, with onion rings upgrade for$2. #Romeo had the peanut butter slathered bowl with vanilla ice cream in it topped with dog biscuits and a side of bacon. We had such a delicious meal. I couldn’t even finish my onion rings so almost opted out of dessert.. Frisco helped me decide on the s’mores lava cake to go. I paid the $80 he said I owed. Then I walked Romeo to the van and said to him, ” uff, we spent too much money Romeo. ” then i came back in for my dessert. I left again but came back in to take a couple pictures. As I was entering Frisco was running towards the door exclaiming, ” I’m so glad you’re still here. ” yeah, i still got it. Lol. Then he told me he was sorry because he totally screwed up my order. I said,” what do you mean?” Turns out he gave me the wrong check to pay. So he was running outside to give me back the $40 I overpaid. He felt so bad. I was laughing so hard because I usually add up my bill and know what I owe before it comes. But I didn’t even question it when he told me it was $80. I usually overspend and that’s still less than normal when I treat myself. I was relieved to get some money back and he was relieved I was still here to get it. Seriously 5 star service the entire experience. I’ve never accidentally paid someone else’s bill before. It’s just one more great story to add to my #RoadDogmom experiences. Highly recommended this place. Food, ambiance, pet friendly and 5 star service. We’ll be back! And #youshouldbehere too

Absolutely hit the spot! Visiting from Arizona I loved having the option to sit outside and watch the storm rolling in with the rain ✨ the food was perfectly seasoned and prepared. There was maybe a 15 minute wait to be seated only because a larger party was ahead of us. So not bad at all for a Sunday brunch. Definitely worth the wait! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks again for the great time and experience at the paddle trap!

An all around great experience. Drinks and food were great, and super flavorful! Our server Hailey B was fantastic. Very thorough, friendly and genuinely seems to love what she does. Her and the bartender were having fun and treating everyone well. Always makes a difference on a customers experience. Definitely will be back!

Just passing through on a road trip and got super lucky with this hidden gem on the river! This place is for everyone – crowds ranging all ages with plenty of spaces to hang out without having to be in everyone’s conversations. I loved the indoor seating options with the chic decor and indoor plant vibes. The patio, river view seating is refreshing and so inviting. They have fire pits, cozy patio furniture, tables and more for relaxing and enjoying their yummy food. We tried the spicy chicken sandwich (amazing breading and the hot honey was bomb – see photos), their chowder (got it because someone reviewed it and said it was great. They didn’t lie, it’s great.), and their poutine (the fried egg was a great touch and the gravy was delicious on the crunchy fries and fried cheese curds). Their Carmel milkshake was great – handmade with real icecream. The outdoor bar is super fun with swing seats! Many people came and went from their boats/jetskis – the dock set up was super for docking. Yes, it can be busy. Yes, orders can be missed or arrive late. Things happen. Just let them know and they will fix it ASAP, they just have to know what you need. We loved our server, Eric, for his present, grounded energy and his attentive demeanor – he’s setting a great example for going with the flow. Thanks for a great experience!

Igloo is a cool idea, smart for these months, I’d like to get the brand of shoe my steak was made from the sole of that they used top leather to make the shrimp. Service was outstanding and the drink menu has variety. I’ll stick with appetizers next time. Possibly have a heater for the whole meal. Sirloin is a tough cut, but put some effort in. For 200 dollars it was worth the lesson. GREAT EXPERIENCE. Just don’t get the surf and turf, unless you expect “turf” as a consistency and flavor. Mac and cheese is great and the fries are above average. Cheese curds are Wisconsin approved (a high honor). Their twist on fried pickles is really cool. This is the first time the cooked vegetables were the best part of a surf and turf meal. I concede, this may have been a one-off, so try for yourself. Nobody has read this far anyway. Be kind to your waitstaff, they didn’t cook it.

Everything about this experience was amazing! Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive, our food was outstanding and the drinks were above all! To top it off there was live music with the McMahon Brothers! Extraordinary vibes! Highly recommend! Best Reuben sandwich Iv ever had and the onion rings couldn’t be beat!

AMAZING food and wonderful service! The staff is always so friendly and provides recommendations on food! And the food is soooo good! The best clam chowder is have ever had! It’s always where I tell people to go when they are in from out of town! Also, the fact that the women’s and men’s restrooms have actual changing tables (not those icky koala care ones) that are STOCKED with diapers and wipes. It takes family friendly to a whole different level and as a mom, it’s so appreciated!

Met family at the Paddle Trap last night for dinner. Shayla was our waitress last night she was amazing! She provided excellent service, drink and food suggestions and has a great personality! All of the staff work together as a team from the moment you enter the restaurant. The food was excellent! We will be back again soon.

The view is amazing! However, all the tables dont have a tent, so bring your sunglasses. I got the basic salad and added shrimp and steak to it with Cesar dressing. The steak was cooked to perfection
