I was walking down the sidewalk and came across this unsuspecting food stall. You can come right up to the window to place your order. It wasn’t busy when I went, so the food only took 5 minutes to come out. As soon as I tried it…hands down best pad thai I’ve had in San Diego. So fresh and flavorful. Added plus for great service. The owner is the sweetest! Highly recommend adding this place for go-to pad thai.

If you love Pad Thai, you absolutely HAVE to come here. The portion size is huge and the flavor is incredible!! This is a must-stop in San Diego. They only sell Pad Thai, which should tell you something. I highly recommend the chicken northern style medium (a little spicy). You can also add shrimp or double chicken. It takes about 20 minutes, but it’s a good sign cause the pad Thai is fresh and flavorful! The pad Thai always comes with egg, nuts, some bacon/pork pieces and green onion.

This was amazing. Spent some time talking to the chef, who is from Thailand and detailed all about the different regional cuisines and cooking technique traditions. He really knows the art of pad Thai and cares deeply about creating wonderful food. The portions are HUGE — one order is enough for three people easily. Thank you, Pad Thai Stand — you are amazing and delicious

Used to be excellent. Last two times the eggs were burned and the noodles were chewy and overcooked. The lime was bone dry. Sad. So disappointed. Writing this so the owner is aware.

I dont know how to say how much i love the pad thai at this place. Its just the first and only authentic pad thai i’ve ever had in the US since the last time i had Pad Thai in Bangkok 🙂 make sure you try the southern style Pad Thai. I loveeeeeeeee the roast coconut flavor in the sauce!!! And the service is always great as well.

This place will be joining my list of “must try Thai in PB”. It’s some of the best Pad Thai I’ve had. The flavors are authentic, and you can taste the care in every bite. They offer different regional styles, which makes it even better.
There’s usually a wait, but it’s totally worth it. The portions are huge—most dishes are about $15 and easily enough for two meals. Great food, great value. This is my new go-to Thai spot. Highly recommend!

THE BEST!! It’s finally in PB!!! The pad Thai stand is one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego, with awesome owners and employees and absolutely delicious pad Thai. Pad Thai and nothing else — it’s all you could need.
My friend Jake packed 2 full plastic bags of Pad Thai stand Pad Thai for a 50 mile hike in the Grand Canyon. It’s that good.

The best pad Thai I’ve ever had in my life, I find myself craving it at LEAST once a week. I get the northern version which has Massaman curry in it, I do it veggie style and it comes w cabbage in it. Lots of extra bean sprouts on the side. HEAVY portion, I can usually only eat half and I save half for later. Pro-tip for reheating pad Thai, do it on the STOVE and add a lil water, fish sauce and soy sauce. BOOM it’s rejuvenated. My bf gets the old style one and it’s also amazing. You are able to add a curry of your choice to you pad Thai as well (between Red and Green.) haven’t tried that yet but securely will next time I go!!

Fantastic! We tried three of the four flavor options and they were all excellent! Probably most recommend the one with peanut sauce. In any case, the opinions of the positive reviews on portion size, flavor, service, etc. are spot on, we will definitely be back!

That was, without a doubt, the best pad thai I’ve ever eaten and Steven was the culinary genius behind it. Thank you again! The portions are generous. You could easily make two meals out of the serving. I may or may not have eaten the whole thing. That coconut cream though… I live in North County and I understand there is a new location in San Marcos. I will definitely be checking it out. I highly recommend this spot!
