Staff is phenomenal. We ended up ordering a bunch of appetizers and she planned everything perfectly so it didn’t come out all at once. Great wine selection and full bar. In door seating and there is outdoor seating. The food is flavorful, tasty, and cook to perfection. Highly recommend.

We popped in there a few days ago and was very impressed. The drinks that Matt made were excellent. The skill of his craft was very appreciated. We loved the oysters that Moe shucked for us. We asked Matt of we can slide into the restaurant and yes we got in. A great thing also was we were able to order the same drink at the restaurant. We appreciated the service that we have received.

Thank you.

The oyster bar at Peter Havens is such a great spot in Brattleboro. They offer a good selection of fresh oysters and cold seafood along with tinned fish. Really good cocktails and draft beer poured by a skilled and friendly bartender. We love walking to downtown and having drinks and some shrimp cocktail and a dozen oysters. The Ahi Tuna and the Lobster rolls are great! The bartender is awesome. He has some great drinks on the menu, I used to get beer here but these cocktails are something else. absolutely delicious. We tried four different cocktails between the two of us and they were all so tasty and beautifully crafted. Highly highly highly recommend.

We made a late afternoon stop here on a Friday. There was a local arts festival going on and the street was closed. The venue is rather small with seating for twenty at best. They mixed their Martinis strong. On the second round our server suggested the i mix it up with some special olives. One was stuffed with an anchovie, another with blue cheese and the third with a picled garlic clove.

There were two oysters to choose from that day. One was from Massachussettes and the other from PEI. Bother were very enjoyable albeit a little twords the small end of the spectrum..We had enjoyable conversation with our server regarding the number of oysters they sell per week and what becomes of the used shells. Apparently they are put to good use as part of an organic compost. This place is well worth a stop if you enjoy cocktails and oysters.

Went for some snacks and was pretty disappointed. Ordered the $30 charcuterie board. It consisted of pre sliced cabot cheddar, brie that had 0 flavor a few slices of store bought pre sliced salami, olives cornichon and some duck Pate that I think is also store bought. Very disappointing in Vermont to see this. Lobster sliders were ok. Oysters were good. Bartender not very engaging even though not too many people in there. They can do better. Probably won’t go back again.

I love coming in here whenever I’m in town, the bar tender and the bar back are super friendly and really know their cocktails and their oysters and can explain them exactly how they are going to taste! Ask the bartender about the drink he made for a demon in his dreams

Not only an amazing small selection of the perfect delicacies for sitting at a high-end bar table or standing at one of a small number of tall circular bar tables (there may also be tall chairs), including oysters, but the gentleman who runs the place is outstanding while being unobtrusive.

High-end food with no reservation required for a quick (or leisurely) dinner. No need to eat at the restaurant adjoining; this little place is enough on its own, if you wish.
