Not the best appearance but don’t judge a book by its cover. Possibly the finest chicken tenders anywhere! The are JUMBO lightly breaded breast meat, paired with buffalo sauce are to die for

As nice as the people are, the restaurant is definitely in distress.
Floors need cleaned, tables need cleaned(they’ve been wiped down but can clearly see debris and greasy areas), air is thick, dishes are all greasy and insanitary.
It’s just dirty and needs a deep cleaning. Dishes need cleaned more efficiently as well.
Paper towels out in bathroom.
Has potential for its location, just needs help.

It has an unassuming location, an old gas station. The inside is still half a convenient store; beer and cigarettes and gum and such for sale. The food, however, is top notch. We stopped by on a road trip the sweet tea is on point and like ambrosia to a deprived northerner. The burgers are delicious diner-style complete with butter toasted buns and the Philly cheese was delicious also. Regional sides like fried pickles and corn nuggets were very satisfying. The chicken sandwich seemed like they took chicken breast, pounded it and breaded before frying. It was everything you could ask for flavor-wise in a funky and ultimately charming local package. Friendly guests offered conversation and anecdotes to road weary self and they seemed to enjoy their breakfast dishes they ordered. I would absolutely stop by again. Dine in or get it to go– you will be satisfied. (I just cut the sandwiches in half myself, but I didn’t ask them to. I am sure they would if you wanted.)

I never leave reviews that are bad. But I have to leave a bad review for this restaurant. If I could leave no stars I would. This was hands down the worst burger my husband and I have ever tried to eat. We should have left when we pulled into the parking lot and no one was there. But I went against my better judgement and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Never will I or my husband darken the doors of this establishment again.

Stopped here because of the reviews but wasn’t good. I asked the lady what she recommended and she said the burgers were good that that is what she gets. I asked for the double cheese burger and got a single patty burger. So I said, ok then I’ll just get charged 7.99 plus tax since they have a special with a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink for 7.99. She didn’t respect the special because I got Cajun fries, which she didn’t tell me were extra and ended up paying 12.99. The burger wasn’t that great. The fries were good. I had to throw away their tea because it tasted bad and they ran out of diet Dr. Pepper, so I settled for Diet coke. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I enjoyed visiting here. The food was good; the service was cordial; and I loved the big menu board.

The cajun fries were awesome!!!
The burger was very big and a great price.

There are historical pictures on the wall too.

Good biscuits and gravy. Good portions for the price. I stopped in again today. I will say it was late on Sunday afternoon. However it’s hard to mess up a cheese burger. I also ended up paying $15, because I got tater tots with cheese. Long way from $7.99. I will say the portion was enough for 3. It’s hit or miss for me.

Hands down the worst food I have had in a very long time. Not to mention pretty sure they are breaking a few laws by having their children actual children running the register and bring out food.

Paid 17 bucks for a double cheese burger with bacon. Took 25 minutes for them to make it. I had to ask about it to get my food, and there was no bacon on it. Burger patties taste like they’re cheap boiled soy burgers, and there’s flies absolutely every in there. Just go to hoots

Now I’m not normally one to leave bad reviews at all..and I Can’t be too mad at the children running the register. but me and my entire group were up charged , they had 10 dollar meals and were charged 16$ mine was 8.99 I got my fries cold and the wrong kind, and was charged 14$ , the adults didn’t come out of the back at all, and only one person who ordered last was informed of a 3 dollar charge for using card…we would’ve used cash if we’d been informed , but even with a 3 dollar charge it still doesn’t add up to there being a 5-6 dollar up charge all that for the only person satisfied with their food to have ordered their breakfast. Definitely were 5/6 disappointed in our meals..but couldn’t really say anything again because they have kids at the register and adults stay in the back…All in all bring cash and order breakfast I guess.
