The food wasn’t bad, but in my opinion, it’s grossly overpriced. $85 for two roast beef Manhattans, two soft drinks, and two desserts. The food was mediocre. However, the waitress was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The view is beautiful.

Fabulous Ohio River views, friendly service, good menu. I had the hot brown, which was a bit overly salted for my taste, with limited beans on the side. Daily specials for soups, sides & desserts take advantage of fresh produce. Blackberry cobbler was on offer on August 13th. Yum!

Went for late lunch/early dinner. They were quick to seat us with a view of the River. I had baked fish with lemon pepper which was a bit over seasoned but I liked it because you could actually taste the seasoning. The slaw had great taste and was super fresh and it was cold not room temperature like you get everywhere else. The sweet potato fries were perfect not the skimpy shoestring type I expected they were more like steak fries which means you could actually taste the sweet potato they were made from. There was a gentleman that greeted us when we were being seated and took our dishes as we finished not because he was our server but because our server was slacking on service and didn’t remove them. I spoke with him and found out he was the Owner of the restaurant and it showed from the time we walked in till the time we left that he takes pride in his place.

The view is the best part of this restaurant. The menu is limited with down-home comfort food. Don’t expect a healthy meal here unless you want a salad. Our entrees were OK, but nothing to write home about.

They were busy. We felt like the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The view is beautiful. It’s a little pricey, but add in the view, and we had a great time. They have live music on some night too.
