We came by to support a friend and coworker. I loved the food, we had burgers with loaded French fries. Also had the onion rings but those were not my favorite. The loaded fries however, those were amazing! I had two drinks the mojoto and the Marla Hooch it’s was different! It grew on me, the more I drinked. The ambient it’s nice at the bar, with music, drinks and sports everywhere.

Drinks took 20mins, understandable on a Saturday night at 9:00p.m. But Allen had a bad attitude. Plus I saw huge Cockroach on the island bar. Last time I came here it was a bad experience too. The bartender had a bad attitude too and acted as if I was bothering her from her phone. They need MUCH BETTER bartenders. Feels like a college bar

I’ve been to the Outsider numerous times for drinks with the girls and big events. The drinks have never been worth the price they charge. But I liked the atmosphere.. until today. I checked Yelp and online to see if they were “dog friendly” and could not find anything. So I came in with my ESA dog around 4:30p when there wasn’t really any customers. Ordered food from the Insider (next door). Sat down in the Outsider. It took at least 15 minutes before one of the 4 bartenders came over to take my drink order. Of course she talked to my dog and he got excited and jumped on her. I immediately controlled him. She proceeded to take my drink order. I get my food and drink and am almost done with my meal. A worker came over and asked if my dog was a service dog. I let the worker know that he was not but he is my ESA. He implied I sit outside. I had a couple bites left and figured I would finish enjoying my $12 meal and $13 drink. About 5 minutes later a different worker approached me very aggressively stating that me and my dog are not welcome in there because my dog jumped on a server and followed that statement with “I’m not suggesting you leave, I’m telling you to”. Very rude and unprofessional manners.
If the server that took my order told me they were not dog friendly before she took my order then I would have left but they then but they waited until I was almost done with my meal and handled the situation very unprofessionally.
This place will no longer be a recommendation of mine.

Love this place! It’s such an inviting atmosphere and the specialty drinks are freaking delicious. I had the Hammerin’ Hank and Red Ricky. The staff is super friendly. Our server Emily was fun and cheerful (Very beautiful, I might add). She kept our drinks coming out! I can’t remember the last time we had a server so attentive. Something our whole table appreciated. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

The Outsider was the best place to go watch the Iron Bowl this past weekend due to their great atmosphere. Kirstyn was the sweetest bartender! She was extremely busy, but at the same time checked on us throughout the game to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. Make sure to ask for Kirstyn the next time you go, she is the best!

Absolutely wonderful staff!! The atmosphere is relaxing and nicely decorated, the Heineken chandelier is awesome!! Drinks are priced great and made perfectly! Bar is fully stocked! I have visited this establishment a few times, it’s always on my list when I’m coming to Mobile!! Last drink I had was a Mardi Gras special. It was called the Purple Reveler. Absolutely delicious!! I definitely recommend if you haven’t tried out The Outsider, nows your time!! You will not be disappointed!!

Visiting from out of town & stopped in for a drink to catch a bit of the 4 Nations championship game before the parade. Very disinterested bartenders, and as a result poor service. Still tipped high because they seemed like kids, but dang- at least act like you want to be there. Would definitely find somewhere else to go next time.

Courtney is one of the BEST servers I’ve ever had, She is super attentive and never once seemed frustrated with my questions. Even though it was super busy she was fantastic and handled our table with a friendly attitude. I definitely will be coming back to ask for her!
