You will be impressed by the food. Fifth star earned when they rip out that DISGUSTING carpet! It’s such a nice place otherwise. Check out the bar if you are into rare bourbons.

Look at the ceiling fans before you are seated! Definitely wouldn’t pass health inspection. Might want to ask for a shield to protect your overly cooked, hard food. $6 for 2 hash brown patties fried to a dark brown crisp that weren’t edible. Server obviously didn’t want to mess with customers as she was rude, snarky and not in a mood to be bothered. Will not be returning.

This little restaurant has the best breakfast I have ever had! Come here, order the Eggs O’Brien (I get it with my eggs done soft, so if that’s your thing, do it!) and become a believer.

Nice local spot right off the snowmobile trail. We stopped on sleds and enjoyed a late breakfast. Eggs Benedict was good. Everyone in our group tried something different and all were satisfied!

Breakfast was excellent! All items were delicious. Our server was not exactly friendly. Seemed put out with questions. I think she was the only one there with the help of a friendly busgirl. Food took a while to get. View was great and place was somewhat rustic. One of the best breakfasts I have had here. Would return. Hopefully, there is more wait staff.

Came in for friday fish fry and got a combo platter. Food was amazing. The cheese curds were delicious. Stopped at the bar before hand and the bartender remembered our names and got us fresh buttered popcorn and kept it coming. We didn’t realize the window seats were typically for reservations and the waitress managed to get us a booth by the window which was awesome. Totally will come back next time we drive through town.

I’ve been all over the Northwoods on my Harley touring the last few years. I’ve visited numerous restaurants during my travels. I don’t know how I overlooked this place. I had an early ride to the MI border for pictures. The Outpost was on my route and it was about breakfast time. I can’t express the experience enough. The waitress was so nice, the Christian music for a Sunday morning was enlightening, but the food. It was by far the best breakfast I’ve had traveling the last few years! If you are going thru Presque Isle, or even close by, make this a must eatery! I’ll be going back!

Best “stumbled upon” breakfast I’ve ever had. Nailed the “extra crispy” hashbrowns, and the sausage gravy would make even the crabbiest of folks shed a little tear.
