A friend and I showed up here last night on a whim. We knew the name from back from the Bancroft Street days. It’s pretty much a dive-ish bar, but that’s not a bad thing at all. Most of the beers on tap were from Inside the Five (local brewery in Sylvania). We got very lucky – it was Jazz jam session night, which was a pleasant surprise. It started off with a bassist, drummer, and French horn on the stage (yes, I know, French horn in jazz?) As time progressed they were joined by a pianist, saxophone, violin, and flute. There was also this cool dog that belonged to the fiddler. She would wander around looking for attention, and she would occasionally take a nap on the stage (amidst the loud music), or spend excessive time sniffing an amplifier. All good fun. I really miss the jazz scene, since Rusty’s in South Toledo shut down. It was very cool to see this place keeping the local talent alive. I highly recommend you learn about their scheduled, Monday night jazz sessions, and pay a visit to the Ottawa Tavern!

A hidden gem in a resurgent Toledo. Great food, with very fair prices. Decent beer selection with average prices. A nice collection of pinball machines. Cool place, highly recommend.

My friends play here all the time and it’s my favorite venue to see them perform at. The owner is lovely and all the staff are as well. Very queer friendly and the music, food, and drinks are always incredible.

A great place while in T-town to catch a show, a cold beer, a great burger…or all three. Stop in, Zack will treat you right!

The only decent music venue/bar for local bands. The owner, Zach, is super cool. Tasty food, and decent prices. And a small patio to hang outside. 10/10

Went to see sanguisugabogg record release concert, nice intimate show. But the stage area was smaller than the bar area and I couldn’t really see the band playing, because they were lower than the actual floor area.

Nice little spot for some local love music. However it could use a little tlc the floors and the walls are a little gross, but the bar and outside area are nice and the vibes are always good there
