I’ve only been here 3 times. The first time the food was pretty decent. The 2nd time the hotdogs were decent but the fries were a little under cooked so that was a waste. The Korean or Chinese lady or whoever she is doesn’t cook fries or onion rings all that great @ all. The 3rd time I figured i will give it another try but the the hot dogs were like room temp it taste like nothing on that bun was hot, the chili or the hot dog.
That 3rd time was it for me. I will not be returning, unless I hear about a new cook or new employees so to speak.

Update: Jan 5, 2020 — Thanks Wonderdog, you’ve officially ruined my go-to after shopping Costco hotdog. I can’t eat that anymore because it’s terrible and yucky compared to the wonderdog with the works I ate last week.

I grew up eating wonder dogs at velvet freeze so I was so excited when my coworker told me about this restaurant. Today was my second visit. I am very disappointed with the service I received today. On my first visit my wonder dogs were delicious over flowing with meat sauce, which is the reason you get them. But, the lady who gave me my order was not very friendly. She asked other customers if they needed ketchup etc. She never asked me. She just sat my order on the counter with no thank you not even a smile. I ignored it and gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, today I felt like she didn’t want my business. My wonder dogs were terrible. The hot dogs, all 6 beef btw, were undercooked with more onions than meat sauce. Once again she called my name and just sat my order on the counter and walked away. There were other bags on the counter. I wanted to make sure I was grabbing the right one. I asked her if that was my order. She very rudely said yes. It’s obvious she has a problem with people of color and definitely do not want our business. I don’t care if I’m craving wonder dogs I will never return. I’ll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

In the entirety of their existence on Knoxville Ave, the worst part of this establishment is THE STAFF & MANAGEMENT. The most difficult thing to navigate is when they close. Ask a staff member, they will tell you that they ALWAYS close at 7pm. Their sign on the door says otherwise. Calling their number, which a person does NOT answer, leaves the communication to the RECORDING. Which happens to state yet another differing closing time.
This is NOT a difficult fix. Correct the message and put the correct information on the door. It’s been several years now, staff should not be crabby and unprofessional and management should not be useless.
