It’s with a deep heart that I’m saying this. I’ve been coming here to this same location for 20 years and to day was the worst experience I have ever had. It took 2 hours to get our food. We had a party of 10 and the first 5 got there food first an hour in a half later. Then the next 5. Food was cold. The table next to us also a larger group experience the same thing. One waiter for 2 large groups. There was even a bug in my food. I know it happens but wow. I spoke to the GM and she did apologize and take care of it immediately.

Fantastic Steak house!
Everything was spectacular and cooked perfect! We started with the brisket queso and chips and some Rattlers that were really good. The steak dinner and Pork chop dinners were excellent and cooked perfect, hot all through, and tender and juicy. Our waitress Angie was incredible with helping us navigate the menu and getting our order perfect. She gave us great attention and service, it’s nice to know it still exists. I looked forward to a nice steak dinner with my beautiful wife all week and The Saltgrass and Angie did not disappoint! Thank you

I’m not sure who the GM is or the manager that was on duty the evening of 10/15/25, but they have no idea how to handle negative situations or have any table side customer decorum. After 15-20 minutes of not receiving our second round of drinks, I lost my patience and tracked the manager down to see what the deal was. It seemed as if I was bothering him, probably because he was getting complaints from EVERYONE. He said he was going to get them, but we never saw him again until we told our server that we weren’t paying for the bill. That got his attention. He quickly came over not to offer a solution, but to sternly let us know that we were going to pay and pay FULL PRICE. Meanwhile, our food is getting cold because we had nothing to wash it down with. The real kicker is, we were not only hit with the full bill, but the drinks we were waiting on (that never came) were on there as well. He was “kind” enough to remove that for us without a simple “sorry about that.” After we received the adjusted bill to reflect what we actual consumed, we realized that our “free appetizer” was also on the bill. UNBELIEVABLE! At that we point, we were completely over it and just wanted to get out of there. Oh yeh! I did finally got a water so I could finish my cold steak. Yay! Do yourself a favor and spend your time and money elsewhere. You’ll be glad that you did!

After a short wait I was seated, Daniel the server was absolutely great! Great allergy awareness, shrimp cocktail was good, steady refill on drinks. Ordered Pats ribeye and didn’t think much about it until it came out, I realized the server never asked what temperature, the steak was well done and that was very unfortunate. Never the less I asked for some steak sauce and chocked up the loss. Still great service, just a little mistake!

Horrible management, manager was a complete piece of work. Completely disappointed with his ability to handle simple issues like a drink wait because of only one bartender. Had a free app….got charged for it. Had an order of drinks that we waited so long the meal was finished with no compensation only extra charge for things we didn’t want because we were over it and just wanted to check out. Don’t waste your time or money!!!!

Took the family out for dinner and decided we would try this place and to our amazement everything was wonderful the atmosphere was very pleasant the wait staff was very polite and the building was exceptionally clean. Could have not asked for a better night and a better place at the right time. A lot to choose from on menus great food and good drinks.

My experience was far from even being good service…4 stars for the food⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our orders were all wrong when they arrived at our table. We had to move unwanted dishes to another table after we finished our appetizers etc…Our server took forever on everything never returning to see if we needed anything then after the confusion on who’s order this or that is when we were advised by another server or server was sick.
Apparently our server was sick and was sent home .
And I became sick…..

The food sucked, luke warm old fries and a bad quality piece of chicken. This place has definitely declined since the last time I’ve gone and I honestly wouldn’t give it another try. The portions are crazy too very stingy, considering the price you would think they would be normal portions. I always saw Saltgrass as a more upscale restaurant but it’s literally Chilis with slightly better food. The drinks at the bar are really bad too tasted straight like canned alcohol from the convenience store..never again.
Forgot to add someone from my party ordered steak and wasn’t given a real knife LOL we were all brought plastic utensils which was fine but not to eat with your steak common sense.
