The food is terrible they offer chicken and other things but they should be putting the focus on the cheesesteaks because those are Not Cheesesteaks!!! The meat is almost like ground beef not thinly sliced ribeye no flavor at all the service was ok and fries was good but the cheesesteaks are trash Hot Garbage! I’m so tired of these bootleg food spot claiming to be authentic. $30 wasted never again

Food: Get the cheese curds and meatball marinara sandwich. The cheese curds were tasty and stretchy, but I’m not sure if they were made of curds. They were probably made using mozzarella. I’d get it again. I like cheese!! The marinara sandwich was full of meat! Super generous. Also the bread is toasted perfectly! I personally didn’t like the pizza fries as much as I was hoping to. It would be cool if they torched it! Unfortunately the marinara sauce got it all soggy. I think if they stuck to cheese and meat and some sort of tomato seasoning (is that a thing? Probably!) or Italian seasoning it would be better 🙂 Cajun fries were good! I would have preferred curly fries. Maybe they’ll make it in the future! I liked their unlimited soda fountain option. Always a good deal. I did make a mistake once… I forgot I don’t like sweet peppers but I ordered the original beef steak so I wasn’t in love with that sandwich. I’m excited to try more sandwiches tho!
Service: the owner is very generous and at their grand opening gave out a years worth of sandwiches to the first 100 people – honestly he gave out even more than that. While people were in line, he and his staff gave out samples a couple times. They had a radio station playing music. In my experience, they’re super nice! They always greet people coming in and thank people as they are leaving. They’ve supported me when I’ve asked for help or when they just notice I’m confused. Super attentive and kind!
Atmosphere: It’s fine! There’s plenty of seating. Cool to see a skyline of Philly on the wall. The only thing I would say would be… the trash can is hard to find. There should be one at the back. It’s only at the front. I think they also need to make it more clear that the plastic trays go at a specific spot. I don’t wanna interrupt their work flow and I want to be able to clean up after myself. It seems they’re aware of this so hopefully they’ll do something about it soon. Other than that, it was a pretty standard vibe. I found clean spots to sit and eat my food – that’s all that really matters. Edit: They made the trashcan more available 🙂 there’s one at the back now!

Random find for lunch yesterday. Was driving west on Madison and starving around 2…found these guys on Google Maps but had never heard of them. I’ve never had a REAL Philly cheesesteak, but I think this is how they’re supposed to be. I had a chicken w/ peppers and melted provolone and it was DELICIOUS. Perfectly toasted bread/roll. The chicken was moist and tender, and the peppers were the perfect mix of hot and sweet. I avoid carbs like the plague so if I have a proper sandwich, it needs to be worth it. This was! Cute and clean interiors. Fast and friendly service. Welcome to the neighborhood!

My dad had been talking about this place ever since I got home for the holidays. Some could say he’s from the greater Philadelphia area. He’s a simple man. Enjoys gyros, cheese steaks, and the occasional jersey crab fries.
Being a man who longs for the simple days growing up on the east coast, him, myself, and my brother sought refuge here to enjoy some delicatessens from his side of the country.
We had a great time and the food definitely filled us up, lord have mercy. The meats were a little too chopped for our liking, and we did not love the buns as much as we thought we would, but the ingredients, meats, and vegies were great. The staff were very nice and eager to serve.
As for our stomachs they were as happy as a pig in mud!
