I stopped by this ice cream spot on a Sunday afternoon and had a great experience. From the moment I walked in, the employee was very kind and welcoming, which really set a positive tone for the visit. The storefront was clean and well-maintained, with convenient parking available. I also appreciated the outdoor seating, which is perfect for enjoying your ice cream on a nice day. The menu is simple and easy to navigate, but still offers a good selection of flavors. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a classic option or want to try something a little different. The ice cream itself was fresh, creamy, and hit the spot. Overall, this is a great place to stop by for a sweet treat. Friendly service, a clean environment, and solid flavor options make it a spot I’d happily return to.

Was very intrigued by the original five layer cone, not only for the flavor pairings but also the apparently long history, so have had this place saved in my Places to Try list for a while. Had to go to Cypress anyways for a licensing exam, so figured why not stop by here too?
Got a rainbow cone for $7.53. Sounds expensive but you get five flavors at once, so for someone like myself who loves trying multiple flavors but can get flavor fatigue, it’s better than ordering each individually. Plus you can customize the ice cream flavors so if you have a combo in mind, go for it. Honestly the cone delivered exactly what you would expect: no fuss, creamy, tasty ice cream, with each flavor living up to the name. I’m still mulling over whether I enjoy eating the flavors together – sherbet with chocolate was too jarring – but each flavor on its own was great. Not sure if the sliced aspect really adds anything, but I enjoy the creativity. Was a great pick me up for that afternoon, and would recommend visiting to try the ice cream if you’re around and don’t intend to go to Chicago anytime soon.
However, what really incited me to post a review in support of this shop was the super friendly customer service. Unfortunately didn’t catch the name of the female worker helping me but she was so nice! Additionally, they have this nifty plastic cone holder that catches the drips from your ice cream. I’m sure this isn’t novel but it’s my first time seeing one and found it thoughtful (though probably not the best environmentally). Storefront was super cute and bright, with merch for sale.
If you sign up for their rewards program you get $5 off your next visit, so if you’re planning to visit, I’d suggest signing up online first. Or you can be like me and have an excuse to come back 🙂

Always receive top notch service at this establishment! The sliced ice cream cone is not only a beautiful work of art, but it’s so delicious as well! My favorite is the orange sherbet and chocolate ice Cream, sliced cone! The combination of flavors is like a party in your mouth!

This place is so cute and the employees are so kind and welcoming.
I ordered online for an in store pick-up so that I could be in and out.
We ordered three milkshakes, and all of them were perfect. They put a couple of mini donuts on top of each shake, and that was enough to get us to go back the next day for just the donuts.
On the Thursday night order, it was ready at the expected time and really fast. On Friday night, they were so busy, and even though the donuts were ready at the time my email said they would be, the employees were so apologetic about the wait.
The donuts are so fresh and fluffy. They aren’t oil heavy, and they practically melt in your mouth. The shakes are thick but not heavy. I was exceptionally with the ease of drinking them. Nothing got stuck in the straw! We got cookie dough and butter pecan, and nothing got stuck – IYKYK.
We will definitely be back, probably sooner than later.
I have one single complaint:
There was an option on the toast app to leave a tip, but they don’t have a tip jar in store. When I was waiting the second time, two people in a row at the cashier asked if there was a tip jar. I think one should be set out, the employees were really great.

So good! The woman working was welcoming and the shop was very clean. She took the time to make the slab cone carefully and it looked fantastic. We will be back to try some other flavors next time we are in the area.

Today was our 3rd time at the original rainbow cone in Cypress. I wish I had gotten the name of the employee (maybe manager?) that we interacted with today because she absolutely made our day. I ordered online and sent my two kids in to pick up (mind you they are 8 and 5, but we are practicing being independent and they love doing this) our order. They came back out with 2/3 things we ordered and then the woman hand delivered my milkshake to my car for me. A small gesture that went a long way for a mama who had a sleeping newborn in the car. So glad we recently found this place. The treats are delicious and employees so kind.

This is such a cute dessert shop! My family enjoyed the donuts since they were fresh and delicious. It was such a nice experience to see how they prepared our order. Dayana was so helpful with guiding us through the menu and made us feel at ease picking our flavors. Definitely coming back to try the other sweet treats:)
