Pronto pub is known for their famous corn dogs. This is the original location right out of Rockaway Beach so it’s a fun place to stop at if you’re in the area or spending the time at Rockaway. Overall, while the food is worth the price, nothing here is super exceptional. Everything is delicious. Tasting the texture of all the food was great, but the overall atmosphere leaves much to be desired, especially if you’re not going on a hot summer day. Seating is very limited inside. There’s probably a total of 10 stools to sit on and while they have about 10 more tables on the outside, there’s really no coverage or blockage from the wind and or rain. So if it’s cold or wet, are you most likely going to be cold or wet while you’re waiting and or eating. The parking leaves much to be desired specifically because they only one a few limited parking spots probably less than a dozen in their primary parking lot, but there is technically unlimited street parking so you can always walk pretty easily here. I’ve been here a total of three times and it kind of has become a tradition when we are in Rockaway to get pronto pub. I do wish that they had extended hours but that’s not a negative point to not trying this

This place is a must whenever I hit the beach. Dogs are super good and the fries are amazing. Make sure you get a large. Love their fry sauce.
Always busy so be prepared for a 10-15 minute wait.
Do yourself a favor and add honey to the mustard for the corndog.

We had such fun here. The corn dogs are fantastic, with options like sausage dog, cheese, jalapeño, or Super dog. The tots are tasty. The pickle dog is disgusting but the zucchini dog was grand. Don’t .miss trying one of the corn dogs from the place that actually invented them!

Was passing through town and obviously had to try the original corn dog (pup). I had to park a little ways away because their lot was full.
The service was very friendly and the pups were ready fairly quickly. Everything was very fresh and delicious.
There are a few picnic tables outside to sit and enjoy your food and the vibe.

Fun, quirky little stop. Was glad they had kid sized corn dogs so we could try the original. But we also tried the mozzarella cheese dog and the dill pickle. Great job of getting the cheese melted, ooey gooey , crust crisp on all, but not sopping with grease like some places.

We got 4 dogs, a pickle, mozzarella dog, large tots, and 3 water bottles and it was still less than $40. The value alone is worth a stop but everything was fresh and delicious as well. They also have classic soft serve which is a welcome treat after a long day. If you blink you could miss Rockaway Beach but it’s well worth a stop just for the corn dogs.

Fun restaurant to visit while passing through, cool atmosphere with the giant corndog on the roof and machine corndog you can ride. We got the original dogs, mozzarella dog and tots. The tots were very greasy and the dogs were a bit bland, however overall I would say it’s worth a visit just be prepared for a wait! Waited about 30 minutes for our deep fried food.
