I urge you all to visit! Great menu photos which were helpful, since I don’t know much about Peruvian entrees. The owners were lovely, clearly passionate about sharing their culture with others, and gave great service.

My chicken was juicy and cooked to absolute perfection. The rice was soooo well seasoned. The Lomo Saltado was also perfect. We ate every last bit on the plate, including the amazing sauces. I also tried Inca Cola and loved that too.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful culture through this delicious food! We will definitely come back when we are next in the area.

An absolutely wonderful experience. This Peruvian restaurant truly exceeds expectations. The portions are generous, and every dish is full of authentic Peruvian flavor. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the love that goes into preparing each recipe.
They also carry a wide variety of traditional Peruvian products, which makes the experience even more special and authentic. It truly feels like having a little piece of Peru right here.
The service is another highlight. The owner is incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. We had the opportunity to meet the owners, and they made us feel right at home. Their hospitality and dedication to their customers truly set this place apart.
Without a doubt, a place we want to return to again and again. Highly recommended! ✨

If you’re in Redmond and craving something different (and genuinely good), Original Peruvian Food is absolutely worth a visit.

This isn’t some flashy, overhyped place. It’s a small, husband-and-wife–owned restaurant, and you can feel that from the second you walk in. They’re some of the kindest people you’ll meet — welcoming, patient, and clearly proud of what they serve. They take time to talk with you, answer questions about the food, and make sure you’re taken care of. It feels personal in the best way.

The food itself? Really solid. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The ceviche is bright and refreshing with just the right kick. The lomo saltado is hearty and satisfying — tender beef, sautéed onions and tomatoes, bold seasoning, and that perfect mix of comfort and flavor. Nothing feels rushed or thrown together. It tastes like real home cooking, the kind that comes from tradition.

You can tell this place means something to them. It’s not just a business — it’s their culture and their story on a plate.

Redmond is lucky to have a spot like this. If you appreciate authentic food and genuinely kind service, give Original Peruvian Food a try. You’ll leave full — and glad you came.

This cozy spot offers more than just incredible food—it’s a full cultural experience. Run by the sweetest couple, the warmth and hospitality make you feel like a welcome guest in their home. The menu is full of traditional flavors that transport you straight to Peru, and the attention to detail—from the décor to the drinks and desserts—really completes the experience. Bonus: it also doubles as a mini mart, so you can take a little taste of Peru home with you. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine, heartfelt Peruvian cooking.

This is the probably the BEST PERUVIAN restaurant I’ve ever tried in USA. This is authentic peruvian food, and the owners are super friendly and very attentive with the public. The food was a good portion and the prices were great for what you get. Will recommend it 100%. This is the place I’ll eat anytime I visit Redmond. Me and my friend were so happy with the Anticuchos we got.

Great food, friendly service and an interesting peek into Peruvian foods! We had the Lomo Saltado (tender chunks of beef in a delicious, savory and slightly spicy sauce) and the Monstrito (roast chicken with fried rice) – the green and red sauces amped up the flavor. We will be back!

This is the real deal! I’ve been hunting for Peruvian chicken since I moved to Oregon from Virginia, and this place hit the spot. Unassuming exterior leads to a cozy and charming restaurant & mini market. Everything is imported from Peru. The owner is so kind and welcoming.

Authentic Peruvian cuisine—ingredients sourced directly from Peru!!! “From Peru to your plate”
Excellent Peruvian restaurant with truly authentic cuisine. You can tell the difference because they bring their ingredients directly from Peru, which makes the flavors outstanding and genuine. That does affect the price, but the quality and authenticity make it 100% worth it. Highly recommended if you love real Peruvian cuisine.

The Lomito Saltado is delicious! The accompanying salsa rosada is picante The owner, Elmer, and his wife Yuli were so kind and explained all the unique products they import from Peru and sell in the mini market. If you don’t know what ‘cuy’ is, ask them to show you! Nothing is more Peruvian than the Cuy
