Came here for brunch with family and enjoyed our meals. Dutch baby was the most exotic dish anyone got and took a few minutes longer to come out. Everything was tasty and fresh. My almond French Toast was really good. The bacon was ok, but fattier and less crisp than I prefer. I also would have liked a more frequent coffee top off. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes to be seated on a Sunday. With tip it was almost $30 pp.

This place has become a weekend tradition for us, even though it’s a bit of a drive. We enjoy the relaxed, family atmosphere.

The menu is extensive to say the least, and the food is delicious, prepared exactly to order, and served promptly. Don’t miss the free refill on hot chocolate, I’ve never run into that at any other restaurant.

I need to order the gluten free pancakes, and they are fantastic – I have celiac disease, which unfortunately will let me know immediately if I get even trace gluten in my food, and I personally have never run into a problem eating here. That’s huge when you have food limitations! Lastly – there isn’t an upcharge for the GF pancakes! I’ve never seen that at any other restaurant, either!

The service is excellent, and they always have plenty of staff, something you don’t see everywhere these days. I recommend joining their rewards club, you get some great discounts and freebies that way! Another insider tip: if you are going to visit during a known busy time (mainly the weekends after 8:30 or so, I’d say) use the online wait-list. The line will be a bit long otherwise. If you do need to wait, there’s a cozy bench area with a fireplace just past the host station.

Stop by and enjoy this Gig Harbor institution today!

I was part of a party of five that arrived at the restaurant on a Sunday at noon. We were told we would have about a 25 minute wait. It was very crowded. We put our name on the list. I watched as other parties came in to see when they were seated. After one hour, another party of five who had just arrived were seated before we were. We have been frequent customers at the pancake house for a few years now. But I likely will not be coming back. We left and went to another restaurant where we got served right away and had a lovely breakfast.

This place is a fabulous restaurant with great food, wonderful service staff, and everything is made in house. We were greeted by Sal, who stopped by to ensure our meal was up to our expectations. We chatted about the business, the wonderful meal we just finished, and were invited to come again soon. My husband ate the Cornbeef Hash Benedict, he was amazed at the quality and quantity, and really enjoyed every tasty morsel. I had the Green Chili Chicken Omelette . . . so satisfyingly seasoned without being too spicy hot, I put this on my “go-to” craving list of foods as top three!! I must say the pancakes were spectacular, soft and fluffy, and very delicious. We didn’t leave a single bite on our plates. We look forward to eating here as part of our regular rotation of small restaurants to enjoy.

Food is amazing but the service was unprofessional!!! Been going to OPH for awhile now, but never received this type of service, do better!! The one In puyallup has excellent service and will continue to be loyal to that location! Never ever going here again! Sadly they need to hire new waiters, I only seen my waiter once was when she served our food the lady that sits customers down helped us more than the services themselves!

We had to wait atleast 8 mims to be seated. The hostess was doing something with a patron and there were three parties waiting to be seated. Two others workers walked up but didnt take initiative to seat any of us.
Menu had alot of selections and the price was comparable to other restaurants.
Eggs Benedict was pretty good except for my egg whites being undercooked.
Atmosphere was nothing special.

I have been to this place in Ohio as well with family, and i can just say that this place is one of the greatest breakfast places you can go to. It is not a small local restaurant, although the food is just as good. By yourself or with your family, you’re lucky to have the food there.

I really enjoyed this place , came up to Seattle from Texas to visit the grandkids, they have such an extensive history and culture. The menu has a very wide variety of different foods. The staff and atmosphere was amazing. Definitely worth coming here thank you for running such a good business.

It was my first time here, and the only thing I’d come back for maybe once would be the buttermilk pancakes. The only problem was the fact that I received the pumpkin spice instead, then received the buttermilk pancakes seperetly after almost finishing my main course. The eggs Benedict was not worth $19.29. It barely had any flavor, and the meat on it looked and tasted like prepackaged processed sandwich meat. The coffee was good but nothing to write home about. Jennifer (my server) was very nice and answered any questions I had. She was very knowledgeable and patient. Now on to the decore, it’s a modern western type of style with its own unique flare, but it needs some up keep. From what I saw, paint was peeling off the walls, and in other places beginning to split, the seats are starting to fall apart, and from what it looks like there is still painters tape on the exit sign so you know it was a lazy job also the front of the building does look to welcoming but instead looks out dated. I came in at around 1000 and left close to 1048. I also bought one of the cute mugs and left a tip, but for one person to eat, it was $28.87 then the pancakes that were refunded it was $23.08 so for a place that is close to the water, I kinda thought it would be better.

We started with waters and there was food all over the cup and then the cups were half empty, almost as if someone took them off another table. Food was okay, eggs were overcooked, but that really threw the vibe off. I don’t usually leave reviews like this but man I was disappointed
