During our weekday visit to the restaurant, we had to wait more than 40 minutes to receive our order. Although the flavor of the pancakes was not up to our expectations (it’s better taste any pancake box in walmart), the benedict eggs we ordered tasted good. Therefore, we rate this restaurant three stars.

Sometimes servers here money instead of words. I order the farmhouse basic sub crepes for buttermilk. The server asked if i wanted 1 or 3 crepes. I asked what is standard. She said 3. So i got 3. I did not know the crepe sub was only for 1 crepe. But i also got homestyle potatoes extra. So the order was farmhouse basic hard scramble with crepe sub 4 pancakes with potato extra. Why did this server bring out pancakes with crepes. I’m one person. Then the check came and that’s when i learned the sub was for only 1 crepe not 3. I would have not thought that since i was subbing 3 crepes for 3 pancakes. I have never been here. Just travelling thru. But bc of this i don’t think ill be back either. I mean i got charged 31.36 for the server error. And the server just wanted to argue abt her justification of how the check was divided out.

Fast service. Food was delicious. Servers lovely and friendly. The lady offered me a takeaway cup for my soda which was thoughtful.Reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere in a vintage building. A real local gem that stands out amongst all the chain restaurants nearby. Simple breakfast and American fare.

The waiter wasn’t too good. When she finally came to the table and we ordered our food it took forever to come and when she did bring the food. We didn’t hear from that waiter for a long time. Her excuse was she didn’t want to bother us. Wow that’s a part of the job.
