This is a solid spot to grab some great coffee and good breakfast foods, for one. The place is impeccably clean, and has a warn and inviting interior space. And the fireplace, in the Winter months, is a nice source of warmth and visual. Can’t go wrong with any of the breakfast items. Eggs over easy, as ordered, along with some tasty coffee. The service was excellent.

We came here, a party of 14, and were almost instantly seated. The pancakes are outstanding, the chipotle omelet was delicious.
The server was amazing, great job Eden Prairie.

When visiting Minnesota every 3 to 5 years, we make The Original Pancake House one our must do meals. This location did not disappoint. I never saw the bottom of my ☕️ coffee cup as our server (Angie) was on game. Per usual, the food was hot, and delicious. Thank You Angie.

Wow, this OPH has outdoor seating, amazing service and a large breakfast menu. The place was busy but service attentive and fast. Lots of seating options including an outdoor patio and a counter/ bar seats. We sat in a booth by the wall. We were eating a breakfast before going to Minnesota Renaissance festival. The restaurant also located conveniently close to our ‘park and ride” place. The server was exceptional and we both liked our food. Eggs were cooked medium and I had grits that were delicious. I also had huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs. I had fresh squeezed orange juice too. The prices aren’t dirt cheap but reasonable. Restroom very nice clean. Very glad we chose this place for breakfast I would definitely go again.

This place is a pretty solid breakfast joint. Went with a group of about a dozen and they handled it great in spite of how busy they were.

It was not hard to find several things that looked good on the menu, the food came out pretty fast as well. The wait staff did a stellar job keeping our coffee and water topped off as well.

The gas fireplace was nice to sit by. I’ll definitely be back to the original pancake house.

Food was really good, coffee was a little rough but for people that like it espresso strong, it was probably perfect. The table was a little tight for larger people, but it served its purpose.

A very cozy and busy breakfast restaurant. I loved the coffee. The Dutch pancake was really good, almost eggy like a souffle. The rotisserie chicken wrap was a flop for us, and I guess it’s not necessarily a good breakfast flavor. The kids enjoyed the soft pancakes, and they were big portions for a kids’ meal.
The service was good but not very attentive on refills, which is understandable given the crowd.
This is definitely in our list of breakfast options when we are in the area.

This place was amazing from min one. The best customer service I think I have received EVER!!! Right away, we were greeted we had a small wait but 1000% worth it. The waitress we had was Ashley, I think, and she was the product of customer service. LONG gone. I almost didn’t want to leave. It felt like I was in a time warp to the 50s in the best way possible. The food was incredible!! I’m a little picky and tested my limits with my substitutions, which normally gets me major attitude, but not this time, she was welcome to the challenge. She knew the 2 bites 2 min rule, and when she would come by, it was always just in time and never pushy. I think everyone should go here and ask for her she deserves the appreciation.

Added myself to the wait list, which was 35 minutes. Showed up 30 minutes after I added myself, so 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Was informed that all wait list “reservations” have an additional waiting time of 15 to 20 minutes. Ironically, this was about the same wait time the host was quoting walk-ins. I had checked in at the host stand at the same time as a person with a resevation and she was also told there would be a 15 minute wait. Not the way to run a business. I get it the restaurant is popular, however why have reservations or wait lists if there is no intention of adhering to them. Probably will not opt to come back.
