The food was sooooo good and filling. Service was amazing and loved the classical music. I got the apple pancake and I’m so happy I did. I’ve never had anything like that before and it was so worth it. The crepes are huge and delicious. The pancakes fluffy and delicious. Everything served was worth every cent we paid. We will definitely be back.

Overall, this is a great place to have a robust breakfast. Be aware that several of the meals take a while to prepare, even the oven-baked omelettes. But, the wait is worth it! The only downsides for me were that my water (my drink of choice) had food floating in it, and that there was an exhausted waitress complaining loudly to the greeter about how they were seating patrons. I’m sure these were anomalies (I haven’t had the chance to return to confirm if these are typical or just one-offs), so we should just assume it was just busy and that my two negative experiences weren’t the norm. The food was delicious and the portions were big, definitely worth the price. I would return if I was in the area again.

Original Pancake House is hands-down one of the best breakfast spots around. The coffee alone is worth coming for — always hot, endless refills, and served with real whipping cream instead of half-and-half, which is a great touch.
Every breakfast item I’ve tried has been excellent. The scrambled eggs are light and fluffy, the Belgian waffles are perfectly sweet, and the bacon is cooked just right — not dry or overly crisp, but not limp or greasy either.
I really wish there were more Original Pancake House locations in the area. When it comes to both taste and presentation, they put Cracker Barrel to shame.
The only thing I’d change is the opera music playing in the dining area — a bit distracting — but the food more than makes up for it. Highly recommended.

Me and my family went here on a Sunday morning. The place is very busy, which is to be expected with a breakfast place that has good ratings. The wait was minimal, and the food made it well worth it. The service was great, the server helped us navigate the menu and helped us find items we were looking for. The pancakes flavor texture were wonderful and the appearance was pleasing. The eggs tasted good as well. The only thing we weren’t to crazy about was the potatoes. They were slightly overcooked. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Love the atmosphere. When I came in the music was great. The waitress was very cold with us. The eggs were nasty and runny and the bacon was underdone and chewy. I tried to email leadership using the contact on the website and it doesn’t work. So I guess I have to leave my feedback here.

The pancakes were great. Good coffee with heavy whipping cream as the creamer. The sausage links were good as well. Also, the waitress was personable and friendly. Yes, I’ll definitely go back again

Hair in the food, had to chase down the waitress just to get silverware to go with our meals, had to wave down the waitress to get a refill of coffee. She wasn’t super busy, at times I saw her leaning on the soda machine doing nothing, hoping she would check on us after we finished our meal and needed a to go box.
Pancakes are good, eggs were good, coffee was good.

My husband and I visited on Labor Day 2023. We arrived right before a huge rush. Everyone was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was Alyssa, and she was pleasant and so incredibly sweet. Everything came out quickly, tasted fantastic, and everyone was busy but friendly that we interacted with!

One of my favorite places for breakfast. Always get the combo – 2 eggs, side of bacon, diced potatoes, and a stack of pancakes. Have raised prices recently but still worth the cost of the meal. You can upgrade your pancakes for an extra charge. I recommend the blueberry pancakes, very yummy. If we have to wait for a table it’s usually not long before we’re seated. Friendly staff and food is always fresh.
