About as close to homemade as you’re going to get without making it yourself. The chorizo is not as strongly seasoned as you would get at a Mexican restaurant. Service is great. The cheese they use has an American cheese feel to it.

Big Servings, Pancakes With Everything!
This was my first time at the Original Pancake House, and it was a pleasant surprise. I met my friends for breakfast. The line was long, but the hostess seated us quickly. (The place across the street had a one hour wait.)
They have a large menu, with traditional and house specialties, all with big portions. I ordered corned beef hash with eggs, and I asked for a side-order of pancakes, but the waitress surprised me. “Everything comes with pancakes,” she said. And everything was delicious.
The hostess, waitress, and cashier were pleasant and welcoming. I had a pleasant meal with my friends.

Terrible service. Every time you try to go here you get greeted by some old lady with an excuse as to why there is a wait even if they have plenty of open tables. The big excuse is the kitchen is backed up. MANAGEMENT learn to manage your staff! It’s always amateur hour here. I left went over to first watch. Better food smiling staff! No hassle. Save yourself the headache ….go elsewhere

The food is not as good as it once was. The draw is that it is small and you have to wait for a table so it must be good. The apple waffle doesn’t even have apples in it like it once did. Tables are cramped to fit as many people as possible. The goal is to turn a table and a profit. If you live or work near by, take it home! The service is great. But the food and price are not close to what it once was. For the best experience, go durinf the week.

The menu goes beyond pancakes, featuring delicious crepes, omelets, and a variety of breakfast proteins. Ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous, ensuring great value for diners.
The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for families or casual meet-ups. Service tends to be friendly and efficient, although peak hours can lead to a wait.
Overall, The Original Pancake House is a fantastic choice for breakfast lovers. Whether you’re craving sweet or savory, this spot has something to satisfy every palate. Highly recommend!

This place has the best omelette I’ve ever had. Granted, that’s not a particularly competitive field but it is so good that I’d rather have it than waffles or pancakes, which is saying a lot. But, you don’t actually have to choose because it comes with three pancakes. They aren’t full sized pancakes but they’re decently sized and way better than the toast most breakfast places would give you. And it was only like 14 bucks before I upgeaded the pancakes to pecan (they were good but I wish I went with banana) which is a solid price for enough food to satisfy me, and I make poor choices with the volume of food I eat.

Me and the boys rely on this location for breakfast when doing work in the area. Food is always good. But I refuse to spend my money with racist bigots in 2026. Our server Amy who I observed runs the seating operation happily took our group but made remarks about the black people waiting. “I don’t want THOSE people” with a disgusted look that might as well be a slur. Disappointed. You just lost a handful of customers.

The portions are big and the people are friendly here.
We had the western omelet breakfast with 3 buttermilk pancakes. The omelet uses four eggs, so it was quite hearty.
There was nothing special about the pancakes, though that came with the omelet.
The freshly squeezed orange juice was pretty good.
They were very busy, but the service was fast enough. We got a window seat, which was nice, but there was a fly buzzing around the whole time. We asked the waiter to kill the fly and he grabbed a magazine from somewhere and murdered the fly.
The clientele was of the older generation. The locals seem to like this pancake house.
We met some very friendly locals there and they gave this place very high marks.
Overall, I felt like the food was average, but I would come back here again.
