I cannot say enough about the food we ate!! I had grits that tasted just as good as mine, and mine are always delicious. The turkey sausage patties are delicious… Everything is just delicious I can’t wait to get to Texas and compare the two. Shout out to our lovely efficient waitress,I hate that I can’t remember her name. 5 ⭐’ s to her!!

Pancakes are the point. I’d like if the other things were tasty, too. We stopped in on a Saturday morning at 7:45am, one of the few tables in at the time. The sausage was a bit rubbery, the country ham more gristle than we’d like, and the potato cakes too thin and soft. The pancakes were great, and that is the point, after all. Our server was attentive and nice, even as the place got busy while we were wrapping up around 8:15am. Would go again, but wouldn’t order anything that wasn’t pancakes.

I had the chicken sausage links(the best chicken sausage I’ve ever had) with cheese eggs pancakes with the brandy peaches and cheese grits….which were cooked perfect btw….you can tell they consistently get it right by the number of people that’s here on the regular. If you don’t eat pork like me…there are plenty of options.

This hands down was the best pancake house I have ever been too. The service was the best I have had this side of the Mississippi. They had a diverse menu with HUGE portions. I literally cannot recommended a breakplace more. I will be going here everytime I visit Birmingham

Love it. I never eat pancakes, but they changed my mind. Instead of a mouthful of paste, I had mouthful of happiness. The pancakes were flavorful and luscious.

I try to get to the Original Pancake house whenever I’m in Birmingham. I love the Bacon Pancakes. The salty and sweet. Our food came out quickly for a table of 5. The atmosphere is open and fun, and the wait can be 10 minutes or more for a large group on the weekend. It was hard to request items from the server. He would zip past us regularly, I stopped him on the way to another table and asked for sugar. We were done with our meal once I got the sugar. But it’s a very busy restaurant.

Ordered the spinach omelette which came with 3 buttermilk pancakes. Personally, I didn’t care for the pancakes. My friend thought they were ok. Omelette was good but nothing special. Was enough food to feed me & my friend. Would come back to try more items on the menu. Their prices were very reasonable.

Take out order like warm. Sat in the window too long. Toast not toast, plain pieces of bread. Put containers inside where food was instead of bag. Germs from hands. Will eat inside. No more carry outs
