Bartender cannot make a skinny Margarita. What we got was some sort of sour lime drink with maybe tequila in it. They’re regular house Margaritas are too syrupy. For food we got the carne asada plate. Toughest and probably the most saltiest steak I’ve ever had. Just terrible experience. My daughter tried to get a regular burrito and we asked for a substitution of rice instead of cheese on the burrito. No can do… apparently rice cost more than cheese, go figure. Maybe it’s government cheese who knows.

The restaurant is nearby a CVS store. Parking is not a problem, there’s a lot of it. Great environment to get together. Love the paintings on the walls. Servers were very friendly and kind. Food was great too! Love their tortillas and salsa very much! It’s a pretty wide restaurant where you can reserve sittings for a party.

I realize that Yelp is suing Google for using its monopoly powers to infringe on the consumer review field for businesses, but this is way more convenient than calling up the restaurant on Yelp. Besides knowing the vicinity where I want to go in order to find it quickly when it pops up on the Google Maps is generally how I find stuff anyway. So, go here, you will get a tremendous meal at a reasonable price, with respectful table management by waiters and busboys.

The host girl wasn’t very friendly at all. On top of that, there was a group of 12 of us and pretty much everybody said How bland food was. It’s like they don’t add any seasoning to their food. Not sure why this restaurant is so overpriced with such crappy food.

I had a toastado! It had no flavor like they forgot to spice it. The salsa was so hot it was not edible. 4 other people in our party also said their’s was tasteless too!

Excellent authentic food. Best I’ve had since arriving in the Bay area. Rice and beans were very authentic. Ground beef enchilada was excellent. Hard shell ground beef taco was great too. The sauce to put on the traffic is a little sweet so if you don’t like that have them hold. We will definitely be coming. Side note wheel of a great fountain drink and they are just perfect.

Huge portions served hot out of the oven. (They melt their cheese in the oven instead of the microwave.)
I had bay shrimp enchiladas with a creamy ranchero chipotle sauce. The wait person let me sample a couple of sauces to make sure I wasn’t getting something too spicy for me. So thoughtful!
My husband had huevos con chorizo.
We came back a couple of years later for more enchiladas.
We both loved our food each time and always had enough leftover for at least one more meal.
There are two dining areas, so there is lots of room for guests.

Crowded Friday night. Very organized staff. Ok Mexican food, eventhough my chorizo, egg and potato plate was slightly burnt but flavorful and my flour tortillas were super overcooked and hard. Decent prices. The Mariachi band that played around the restaurant were very good and added to the ambiance of the place.
Having only 1 bathroom for female and 1 bathroom for male patrons…. is so not enough. Especially when it’s busy.
I look forward to possibly going back on a less crowded night and maybe giving a 5 star rating.
