This is a great place to have a Lobster dinner if you are visiting Cozumel. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere! The lobster is delicious and the pricing is fair. One thing to note is this is an open air restaurant so wear a little bug spray if you’re concerned about being bitten. Highly recommended this restaurant for the experience and the delicious lobster and key lime pie.

We had the best time here. First of all, the atmosphere of this place is so unique. The architecture is unmatched. A pond with ducks, live music, games, and so much more. We made a reservation and were glad we did because it was quite busy even at 8:30. The place has a lounge/bar area and also a dining area. The service and food were exceptional. We got some bread to start which tasted AMAZING. I got the lobster fettuccine which was 10/10 and my fiancé had the surf and turf which was 8/10. The lobster in the fettuccine was better than in the surf & turf. We also had the dark chocolate tart which was great. The food, however, is very pricy so if you are looking for a cheaper spot, this is not it. They also called us a taxi to get back to our hotel which was a nice touch. Giving this place 5 stars because it deserves it.

Wow! Best Lobster we have ever ate. We did expect that but the steak was also phenomenal. They gave us homemade banana liquor which was on the house as well as birthday song and Keylime pie. Been to the original Keylime pie in Key West, Florida. This is better pie ! Would fly to Cozmel just to eat here again. Staff was spectacular and beyond our expectations. It has been here 44 years. If you go to Cozmel you have to try this restaurant or you will miss a experience of a lifetime.

This restaurant is actually two restaurants completely separate from each other. Each owned separately by brothers, Enrique and Fernando. This is relevant because when you search either with your Apple search or Google search, it only comes up as one restaurant. I am not sure why.
Fernando owns “La Langosta” which also has a sign that says the original lobster house. Enrique owns the one 30 feet to the south that just says, The Original Lobster House.
Enrique’s place to the south is more elegant and even has a spot with air conditioning while Fernando’s is more laid-back with TVs that may have sports on and it also has a larger menu. Because of the mosquitoes we ate at “the Original lobster house” twice and “La Langosta” once.
Now to the food. It is amazing! Maybe the best surf and turf I have ever had and at 900 pesos was only around $50. I have never had lobster fall apart when you try to pull it out of the shell. It was so tender and so good! Very good price. My wife had the garlic shrimp one night and the surf and turf with filet mignon the other, both amazing!!!
The ambience is perfect. And it’s worth mentioning that Enrique’s place has an absolute outstanding cappuccino, and La Langosta does not. Both restaurants are amazing and if you go to Fernando’s, you will get a tour and stories he was so fun.

Absolutely the best Caribbean lobster I’ve ever had. Service was excellent, ambiance was great…. Lots of fans to keep the skeeters away. It’s only Monday and we will definitely return before weeks end. Highly recommend. If you’ve seen my other reviews, you’ll realize this place is legit. Worth the taxi ride.

This place is our favorite on the island. The food is incredible! Of course, the lobster, but everything is cooked to perfection with so much flavor. Even the drinks seem to be far above average. Such a cool ambiance as well; the decorations are funny and very tasteful. Such a neat place, with ducks and fish—there’s just so much to see. This is an absolute must if you are visiting Cozumel. Prices and service to match love this place

Got the surf and turf, which came with a lobster tail and a filet Mignon. Both were cooked perfectly and super delicious. The mash potatoes were very tasty too.
There’s live music, a pool table and a romantic atmosphere

Know they don’t open until 5:30 if you go. Neat place! Unique setup of indoor / outdoor dining. The staff was very nice, friendly and attentive. Live music duo was nice – jazzy and fresh takes on older songs, in a quaint and cozy setup. Margaritas and Palomas were excellent – probably the best we had in Cozumel. Food was alright. We filled up on Lobster salad (it’s a lot for 2 people) & bread, so by the time our meals came we didn’t eat much. Key lime pie was okay, but neither of us finished it. I ordered fish & chips (snapper) and wished I had opted for grilled instead. Batter was too heavy and the quality of the fish wasn’t great (like the trimmings were battered). But the fries were good.
