Second visit to this location Dec 2025. First visit was impressive enough to return.
Although not all in party needs to eat gluten free we search out spots that can accommodate all in a safe dependable manner.
This restaurant has a whole page of their menu with gluten free options, many of which we’ve not seen at any other to date.
To have options as a gluten free diner is an amazing feeling! Very much appreciated.
As a side note the non gluten free dishes were all very tasty as well.
Also impressed with how clean this restaurant is! You can see into portions of the kitchen and both times I was pleasantly impressed with just how clean it was. Not always the case at any busy restaurant.
Tasty take away dessert (gf as well) and other food options and well as unique gifts are in the front of the restaurant.
Everything is priced very reasonably. We were able to combine a good meal with some Christmas shopping.
Will be visiting again!

My boyfriend and I went on a date here and it was a wonderful experience. I ordered a meatball sub with cheese and he ordered a large Stromboli. Food took a little bit to come out but it was okay because that gave us time to talk to each other. the waitress apologized to us for the wait and the food came out directly after that. It was amazing food, we enjoyed our meal and then as we were paying the server gave us 2 pieces of dessert to take home with us. I order take out from this restaurant a good bit but it was my first experience dining in here. We were not disappointed at all and were very happy with the quality of the food and how nice everyone was! We will be returning in the future!

this place may not really be the real “original” Italian pizza and restaurant, but it certainly is a classic.

there is plenty of parking off of busy north Logan Boulevard between Lewistown and Yeagertown Pennsylvania. This is just a short hop off of state route 322. I definitely recommend the side trip if you are enroute to or from State College from Harrisburg.

The service was hopping, and all of the staff were very attentive and accommodating. I mentioned I wanted coffee and our server immediately said she would brew a fresh pot for me.

The food was truly classic Italian, starting with a generous serving of bread and a side salad. The main dishes were excellent and quantities were oversized.

The decor and seating is booths much like a diner. But my artist partner says the murals and other artwork are all above average.

Do not order subs and think they will be edible. Not as ordered, bread was hard,no oil and basically a salad when I unwraped it.i wonder if the owner knows or cares about the quality of food that walks out the door . I should have known when I drove up to the establishment at 7 pm on a Friday night and only 4 cars in the parking lot…..your chasing people away with your quality of food …..

Friendly and helpful staff. My wife and I arrived late (30 before closing), and the girl at the counter was sooo helpful and made us a pizza to go. We were staying in a nearby hotel. The pizza was excellent! Also, got a couple of cannoli’s and they were divine.

Spur of the moment stop on a trip back from State College it had good reviews so I stopped. My co worker and I each had a sub. They were hearty and delicious. Staff were very friendly. Wait time for food was reasonable. The WiFi kind of sucked but don’t let that persuade you.

Worst chicken cheesesteak. Who puts shredded lettuce, tomato, and mounds of mayo on a cheesesteak? There was almost no cheese. The sandwich was soggy and tasted like a cheap gas station sub.

I have given this company multiple opportunities to be better but I’m done buying pizza here. Everytime I buy pizza here I have to recook the pizza due to the dough not being cooked, I don’t mean just a little I mean the whole center of the pie being pretty raw, be cautious.
