Although not all in party needs to eat gluten free we search out spots that can accommodate all in a safe dependable manner.
This restaurant has a whole page of their menu with gluten free options, many of which we’ve not seen at any other to date.
To have options as a gluten free diner is an amazing feeling! Very much appreciated.
As a side note the non gluten free dishes were all very tasty as well.
Also impressed with how clean this restaurant is! You can see into portions of the kitchen and both times I was pleasantly impressed with just how clean it was. Not always the case at any busy restaurant.
Tasty take away dessert (gf as well) and other food options and well as unique gifts are in the front of the restaurant.
Everything is priced very reasonably. We were able to combine a good meal with some Christmas shopping.
Will be visiting again!
there is plenty of parking off of busy north Logan Boulevard between Lewistown and Yeagertown Pennsylvania. This is just a short hop off of state route 322. I definitely recommend the side trip if you are enroute to or from State College from Harrisburg.
The service was hopping, and all of the staff were very attentive and accommodating. I mentioned I wanted coffee and our server immediately said she would brew a fresh pot for me.
The food was truly classic Italian, starting with a generous serving of bread and a side salad. The main dishes were excellent and quantities were oversized.
The decor and seating is booths much like a diner. But my artist partner says the murals and other artwork are all above average.
Everything was excellent and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend
