I got a recommendation from a colleague to try out Castalano’s. The staff is friendly and the food is great. It gets fairly busy by noon so you may want to arrive earlier. Overall, a great local restaurant worth a visit.

We were passing through Morgan City and stoped based on the Yelp reviews. It was worth the stop. We had egg plant parmesan, chicken Parmesan, and the Cuban sandwich. They were all delicious. Their red sauce was great. The only regret is we didn’t stock up from their freezer section. Bring an ice chest (they have them if you forget!). Don’t miss it.

Wow. Unbelievably great food! It’s been a while since I’ve been this impressed. We had the muffaletta, the eggplant and portobello on foccacia, the sweet potato fries, and the eggplant fries. All excellent. Can’t wait to try other dishes next time.

Castalano’s in Morgan City is a long time favorite of mine. I have loved this place since I was in high school. Anything you order will be great! I enjoy the Tuna Steak on top of a tropical salad. Delish!

It used to be much better. The quality has dwindled. And eating of styrofoam to go boxes is lame, nothing italian about that. They changed their meatball recipe too!! Its horrible. Save your money. The authentic Italian meals and feeling is non existent.
