A varied Tex-Mex menu & cheery, multicolored decor draw diners to this quick-serve operation.

We happened to be in the area visiting from California and were very hungry. This was the first place my family and I saw but I have to admit, I was a little skeptical since California is known for their Mexican cuisine. We got to the restaurant and it was packed, which we thought was a good sign. A packed restaurant must mean the food is amazing. Unfortunately, thta wasn’t our experience. We ordered 2 Cali burritos, rolled tacos, a side of rice, and a fish taco. After waiting more than 20 minutes for our food, we were hoping that it was worth the wait. We took it to go and saw that each item was placed in its own bag and then another bag, and then into yet another bag. Seemed like a lot of waste. We had ordered the fish taco without Pico for my daughter, and it was the saddest fish taco I’ve ever seen considering the price. I posted a picture below for reference. The rice lacked any kind of flavor as well. Definitely not worth the $60 we spent on the food, especially considering the wait time. Alot of people were coming in and picking food up, so I would recommend placing an order ahead if you choose to eat here. Which we didn’t know beforehand. The environment is colorful and welcoming. But looks can be deiciving. Would not recommend.

It was really good. The chips and the salsas were yummy. The atmosphere was really cute and quiet. My only gripe is that their California burrito doesn’t have potatoes and that’s just weird. They should probably rename it, because that’s what makes a burrito a California burrito.

Ordered online from Uber, Found this place as one of the top gold star places to order when I searched for chimichangas… I wanted to hopefully find a new place that would hopefully get it right how to make a green Chile enchilada style deep fried Chimmie the deep fried way…My togo restaurants for years have just been shitty lately and kept sending me super soggy burritos enchilada style …But my first time ordering from OBC Chimmie today came deep fried but unfortunately there was pretty much nothing inside but a small scoop of meat and super greasy.. the cheese was well pretty much plastic … They gave me the green Chile enchilada sauce on the side which was fine and that was actually really tasty… Chips were decent, Green Salsa is really good…Just be careful of the beef or chix Changas…

The absolute best burritos (and Mexican food offered) and the people who work there are truly lovely. I love getting a bunch of burritos for big gatherings. All of my friends and family are addicted. And hands down, they have the freshest, most delicious red salsa I’ve ever had in Phoenix or Tucson. Could not recommend more. Give them a try. (The green chili pork is top notch and the breakfast burritos are always a huge hit.)

I’ve been patronizing this restaurant for over 10 years, but the food and service has declined tremendously. I’m not sure what’s the issue, but the food is getting worse. It used to be top quality, now I’m lucky if I get my food cooked thoroughly; and if I order for delivery, they forget things like salsas and drinks. I get why the prices have increased, but the service has plummeted. The women who work the morning/day shifts are rude as hell, for no reason. If you dine in, be ready to deal with loud music as well.
Update: bought a #14 breakfast burrito recently. The cook just put a log of liquid egg mix and the chorizo & potatoes on top. Didn’t even bother to mix all the ingredients. Had to throw it away. #disappointed

I think their enchiladas are the best in my area. The enchilada sauce is not sweet and the amount of cheese is perfect. Our family likes the little street tacos and chips and sauce too. I always get take away and my order is consistently correct.

Quality of food went downhill since I frequented this place years ago. I stopped by and ordered a fish taco. A huge disappointment. A large tortilla with lettuce, cabbage and one tiny piece of fish sitting in the middle of it. I was there with friends, didn’t want to start a drama with the staff, but there are much better and cheaper places in the area. They just don’t care anymore. Yes, it used to be a good mexican restaurant. Not anymore.

I was out running errands and stopped here for a breakfast burrito. Whenever I try a new burrito place for the first time I always get the machaca burrito. I know if their machaca is good, everything else is going to be good. Also, for me a burrito has to taste good on its own, without needing to add salsa. The machaca here was pretty good but not fantastic. It needed the salsa. On its own the machaca seems like it was missing a little something. Maybe it just needs salt. I’m not sure. But add the salsa, either one both are awesome, and the burrito becomes whole. In all, the food was delicious. Come check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

Some of the nicest people in Ahwatukee run this restaurant. Say hi for me. I miss this food in Denmark and would add the barbacoa (shredded beef) and egg & bacon breakfast burritos are my favorite. The fish taco is to die for. Add a side of green chile (Hatch New Mexican sauce) or napolitano, prickly pear cactus pieces to your burrito! If you let them know you’re a student, you’ll get a discount. The red sauce at the salsa bar is amazing! The green may also float your boat. Tip these folks; they are an establishment and truly a gift. Another suggestion: sit outside on the patio if it’s not summer.
