I found a piece of rope or hair toasted onto my bagel… also the coffee situation is terrible. Why are they making the customers self serve an iced coffee and not even have milk? I paid $40 for 2 bagels and coffee. NOT worth the price.

As of late the quality of their bagels have declined to sad. Even their creame cheese is sad.. the past three orders at least one and mostly 2 of a 6 pack are hard as rocks and burnt. I stopped ordering onion bagels because to burnt to eat… the plan bagels are usually spot on but who ever took over the store in Lake Mary doesn’t care about quality or making good food. Shame.

Whoever took over the Lake Mary location in the last 6 months is a failure and needs to be replaced. Waiting 45 minutes to an hour after the online order said ready for pickup, for a single bagel sandwich, at 11am is unacceptable. Please hire someone competent and train the staff!! This was my go to spot for a couple of years (RIP Bagel King), but I can’t support them any longer, and Jeff’s bagels is going to put them out of business unless they make a change.

Frustrates me so much to how good the food is and how terrible the service is. Love the bagels, cream cheese is okay too. The coffee is good, hell they have a good menu but the counter service is pure crap. Don’t get me wrong, they are super polite, just not efficient and don’t listen very well. Ask for one flavor and get another, ask for sliced and get not sliced, excuse after excuse when it all comes down to listening and management. Best bagels around but double check your order before you leave the counter.

I visited The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co in Lake Mary today with family at 1pm (they close at 3pm). When we tried to order bagels we were told that they don’t have any bagels. I looked at the menu and attempted to order a soup (which I’ve included a picture of the menu) and was told that they don’t serve soup at this restaurant. I pointed to the board and was told that the board is wrong and it’s not something they offer. When I told the employee that I guess I wasn’t ordering anything she looked at me like I was crazy. I left confused. It’s hard to imagine why a bagel shop runs out of bagels but the bigger issue for me was having items on your menu that are apparently incorrect. The employees at this location don’t seem to care and don’t apologize or offer solutions.

This amateur hour operation runs out of bagels with HOURS left of operating hours constantly. If this is a bagel shop, why run out of bagels by noon? Make more. Do your jobs. Or close shop. Simple as that.

Update 2/10/26 – another wasted trip. No bagels
Update 2/16/26 – no bagels, no refund on the online order and lost a reward

This is single-handedly the worst food service operation I have ever repeatedly gone to. At this point, I am the insane one for thinking they will ever get anything right.

Food: 3/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5

We love coming here because it definitely reminds us of NY and lox bagels with all the extras of it. Very delish! Service is always friendly. We recommend this spot for whoever is looking for fresh bagels, chill environment, and great service.

There’s a lot to like about this place, the coffee ice cubes are a nice touch for example. But this bagel was disappointing. Super doughy. But when I tell you I was insulted by the little cream cheese I got. It doesn’t even cover the whole bagel. If you did this in New York you’re liable to get outcasted from the whole state. I was so excited now my morning is ruined. I even had to dip into my personal cream cheese collection to supplement the gap. I’d honestly rather go to Einsteins, at least their bagels have texture.

I honestly would give them five stars but you have to make your own specialty drink like the Brooklyn egg cream. No ingredient list, no portions, just an empty cup with a spoon. Next you’ll hand me a packet of cream cheese to make my own bagel. Smh

I am tired of companies using “New York” on their brand and not delivering “New York “ taste. These bagels taste like Einstein Bagels. The bacon egg and cheese bagel was horrible. They don’t use fresh cracked eggs. The cheese wasn’t melted and the bacon was rubbery. Nothing in this place taste like anything from New York. Horrible . Look at the picture and you can see the cheese and the horrible eggs. Also way too expensive. For a bacon egg and cheese bagel, plain bagel with cream cheese and 2 coffees I paid $25. That’s crazyyyy.
