This used to be “Cold beer and cheese burgers and now is the Tavern. Still the same amazing sports bar with tons of TVs and pretty waitresses though!
The burger was fine, but the fries are AMAZING!! The price is good. Parking is still interesting. You can do the valet or just park a little further away for free.

Been coming here since it was CBCB, but now it’s changed names & menu. Updated the interior & has a more neighborhood restaurant vibe vs the sports bar it used to be. Here for a late lunch & am leaving a review because they have fried chicken as an entree & it’s worth 5 stars. 4 pieces (1 is missing because I ate it before taking the pic), bone in, made-to-order (so don’t be in a hurry), with the perfect crunch on the outside & tender on the inside. I ordered mashed taters & they were whipped smooth & buttery. Highly recommend. The salmon entree is also 5 stars. The rice was slightly undercooked, but good flavor & will be perfect as a leftover.

I went here for lunch with a friend and got the sliders and they were so good! It’s perfectly cooked and seasoned with au jus.
I was able to sample my friend’s taco pizza and it was surprisingly excellent. I honestly wasn’t sure what to make something that had pizza and taco unified together, but let’s just say that I had a little bit of good envy. Service and atmosphere were great and I would definitely come back.

I’ve eaten here a few times….this is a very busy restaurant! Service here has always been top tier! Managers walk around making sure everyone has what they need. Jerry, one of the floor managers is always very polite and professional. I will definitely come back and recommend.

1) Happy hour is misleading as it says domestic beers but only covers Coors Light and their ilk. 2) the food is not good. Pizza tastes like frozen pizza for children and burger tastes like it came from Sonic. 3) not enough servers are scheduled when there’s no host so you end up waiting 20+ for getting and another 15+ for drinks bc they are covering the entire restaurant and God forbid the bartender run drinks.
This is definitely a place where bros go to watch sports and not care about anything else.

This place is a gem in Scottsdale. The food is always good and Olivia the bartender was great! Olivia was polite, professionally presentable, and always attentive.
We ordered hot wings with extra sauce and they were perfect! I love their wings and their smash burgers. Cold beer, good drinks and a fun atmosphere is always a good thing. I’ll be back again when I’m in town
