This restaurant is AMAZING!! PERIOD!!! Our food was delicious. Had me wanting to try everything else. I had the triple delight no beef no vegetables, crab rangoon and my boyfriend had combination lo Mein. Perfect-O!!! Now, I didn’t get our waiter’s name but he was the only one and he was OUTSTANDING. We tipped good. If you’re looking for an amazing Chinese restaurant this one is it. That’s all for now, ttyl ☺️

When they first opened it was perfect! Me and friends have noticed quality already going down hill ( dark meat chicken, no veggies ) . My husband got a little sick after eating sesame chicken. So i think im done … unfortunately

Sushi (salmon and tuna nigiri) came in large portions, especially for the price; but was not cut well, making it sinewy and hard to eat, and didn’t taste great… ended up throwing away about half of it. The seafood entree was decent except for over-cooked lobster, but had lots of random veggies that were not the ones listed on the menu (e.g., bamboo shoots, carrots), and the restaurant ignored a request for “no water chestnuts” — I would not have ordered this dish if the menu had accurately listed what was in it. Beef sticks were tender, but a bit too fatty and had almost no flavor, and what flavor they did have was unpleasant. They did throw in a free soda, though, which was nice.

The food was wonderful. Great taste. Hot food. And the waiter was excellent with bringing food to u and he made sure the water was kept full in my cup. I love this restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food. Chinese or Japanese. Keep up the great work. The orient restaurant.

Incredibly delicious sushi! The freshness and quality of the ingredients, and the careful preparation really shows. If we could eat one food every day, it would be the sushi from The Orient Restaurant. We will be back soon!

Great food and Service! The building, though very clean, looks very old, but don’t let that deter you from their great chinese menu, and dine in experience. They brought out yummy fried wontons with duck and mustard sauces. Duck sauce was yum! We ordered wonton soup, pu pu platter (came out with flaming grill in the middle), hunan shrimp, and crispy sesame eggplant hunan style. Everything tasted great and came out hot. The shrimp was tender. The sauces were smooth and liquid, not gelatinous like other chinese places get sometimes. This is our new go-to chinese place 🙂

I recently moved back to the area after 22 years away and was surprised to see that The Orient was still in business. I dined here when they first opened. Prior to The Orient moving in, the location seemed to go through a new restaurant every year or so. I expected this place to go the same route, but I was shocked to see it still exists.
