Walking in on a cool Saturday night, we were greeted with friendly smiles and seated pretty much immediately. Our server was kind and checked on us frequently, and the atmosphere was cozy. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Sirloin, while my companion chose the New York Strip, both medium rare.

We started with the Onion Rings, which were a little too salty for us but still very delicious! Our steaks were a perfect medium rare, with large Texas toast on the side and a delicious assortment of potatoes. Thank you all for a lovely dining experience.

I feel like I could write an essay on how bad this was. It felt like a joke. Where do I start? The cheese balls were $2 more than what was listed on the menu. We didn’t get silverware and had to steal it from another table. The silverware was the flimsy, cheap high school cafeteria type. When I am paying $36 for your New Year’s Eve special prime rib I am expecting, at the bare minimum, appropriate silverware to cut it with. That steak knife was a joke. Also, our table was wobbly and I needed to have both feet on the base of it to keep it from shaking when trying to cut my prime rib with the useless knife we were provided with. Also, I asked for it to be cooked medium and it came out very much well done. Also, we had placed a reservation and were seated in an extra room connected to the restaurant that appeared to have just been set up for extra seating for New Year’s Eve only. There was no music playing, very minimal decor. It was not a romantic or pleasant dinner. If you are going to set up extra space in order to make more money, fine, but maybe give the actual restaurant seating to people who made a reservation. I feel like the list of grievances doesn’t end for me, this was genuinely the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I have no issues with our server, she was fine and my tip for her was not impacted. I wish however that I could have only paid her and not given a cent of my money to this restaurant.

This is an extremely small building. It felt so overcrowded and overwhelming. The bathrooms are so small and they don’t have diaper changing tables, we had to change our baby on the floor … the food was subpar. The Mac n cheese tasted like store bought shells and cheddar, I ordered a NY strip and they gave me a ribeye (also don’t like that you have to pay for them to cook your food). The ribeye was extremely fatty. They also don’t have fountain soda and charge you $2.50 per can of soda.
It just seemed like they found up charges every chance they got and crammed you into the smallest space possible while serving you food that you may or may not have ordered.

I was looking for a steakhouse that was not a big chain type place, more of a family owned, and YES, I FOUND IT. This pleace allows you to cook your own steak, even encourage on their open flame grill. The grill would allow 10 people to cook at one time. The tenderness of the steaks was very good. The loaded baked potato is great. The green beans had a great flavor. You grill your own texas toast. The building was very clean. Staff was very attentive. Friendly staff.

Worst service ever. Waitted for 10 mins for someone to even come to our table for a drink. Didn’t even take our order or ask to take it. Come back with our drink and took our order. AN HOUR later still no food, no one come to the table. Only 2 tables with people, so why the delay? No idea, no one to ask. Put 20.00 on the table and walked out. Total time with no food or anyone to ask was 1 hour and 10 mins. Do not waste u our time with this place. Negative stars!!

Rube’s this isn’t. With a little effort, this place could be much better. Rather than using a gas grill, like everyone has at home, it would be great to use charcoal. The steak quality is pretty good, but they don’t make them look appetizing. The display case should be full of steaks… It looks much more appealing. If you can’t fill it, then the display case should be much smaller. More attentive, quicker service would also be appreciated.

One of the finest prime rib’s I’ve ever had for a reasonable price! Highly recommend this small-town gem. Jacks was great manning the bar and serving.

I do not take giving a single star lightly.
However, this experience doesn’t deserve more.

This is a small restaurant tucked into an old building. The ambiance is dull and outdated.
A string of Walmart LEDs tucked into the ceiling tiles shows little effort to portray the high end restaurant they pretend to be.

I could’ve gotten a better ambience, and a steak for that matter, at Denny’s.

Speaking of the steak. I ordered the Ribeye and the cut of meat was very tough with very little flavor.
The baked potato was barely bigger than an egg. Honestly.

Overall, this wouldn’t have been such a disappointment till I got the check.
The steak was $38!!!
Then they add on $5 to cook it!!!
Seriously, what a tacky move.
That made this subpar cut of meat $43.

I would compare this to going into a Bar and ordering off the menu.
You go into it expecting (Bar food).

When I went into the Open Flame, I expected a high end food experience.
This was nowhere near it.

I can not recommend anyone waste your time and money visiting this place.

Service was poor and inattentive. My husband’s steak was not cooked correctly, (after charging a $5 cooking fee), salad was small, and nothing much but lettuce, potato had bad spots in it. My shrimp were huge but rather tough; it came with Texas toast which was toasted but plain. Butter was so hard it couldn’t be spread, nor melt on the potato. For 3 people, the cost was pretty high for the quality and service. We won’t return or recommend.
