What an experience. First time i eat alone in a diner. EVER. Above the expectation I expected. Ms Michelle was my server and she made sure I felt comfortable and attended to. They have holiday music on so it was easy to acclimate to the atmosphere. I was feeling away since I had to fast for a Dr’s appointment but I enjoyed everything I ordered for 2 days. I got me a western omelet with home fries and white toast with a side of bacon and a order of corned beef hash. I think im going to make it a every month ritual and start trying new breakfast plates. The bacon tasted off but I kno for next time not to order it. Overall everything was amazing. The experience, the food, the service. Thank you very much for a memorable dinning experience. The coffee was also amazing. I look forward to my next visit.

Been awhile since I’ve been here – fun spot inside where the walls are adorned with old lunch boxes from the 70’s and 80’s. Vibe is relaxed and the staff was kind. The server was helpful and helped in making dinner decisions. We had the Half-moon mozzarellas which were tasty – the sauces that came with it were great too, a pesto aioli and a vodka sauce. The Chicken Parmesan sandwich was not bad, I would’ve preferred a fresh cutlet, but I believe it was a frozen cutlet not made in house (I could be wrong, but probably not). The French Onion Soup wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad, however the Small Greek Salad was tasty. The Buffalo wings were crisp and pretty tasty, spicy but not too much – ask for sauce if you want more heat. Not bad in a pinch and in a rush!

Our servers are always kind and helpful, kitchen is fast and the food is delicious. My son loves it here and everyone is very sweet to him. I got the brown sugar iced latte and it was amazing!

I never leave reviews, but this place was so fantastic I feel obligated to. Even on a busy Saturday, the service was fast and efficient. Our server, Liz, was so sweet and overall delightful to be around. Drinks and food were awesome. Be advised, portion sizes are MASSIVE. Bruschetta avocado toast was wonderful, super fresh veggies and fruit. Friends had pancakes that they loved. Highly recommend!

I never write bad reviews but this will be my first. Came in and was seated right away which was the only good thing. Me and my boyfriend ordered salads and what they brought out was mind blowing. I couldn’t even process what I was looking at. The chicken tasted so old and flavorless. Asked for sweet potato in my salad which was an additional charge just for it to be awful anyways. Paid $65 for two salads. Oh and the best part was, there’s little bugs flying around. Maybe fruit flies and I felt mosquitos biting me. Awful place. No thank you. Never again.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My party (2 people), were seated immediately. Server was promptly at out table, friends and polite. Ordered the BLT and my associate ordered a grilled cheese with bacon. They forgot her bacon, took the sandwich back and added bacon, they toasted it/heatlamp/salamander the sandwich and all the cheese oozed out the side, not much in the sandwich anymore. My BLT was pretty good but a couple of piece of lettuce was wilted/soft/rotting on the edges. Onion rings were awesome. Pickle and slaw was great. Thanks for the great service.

There is just something about NY and NJ diners. They’re iconic. Great food, great service with a menu that has everything under the sun. The Olympic diner fits into this iconic category. When we arrived it was fairly crowded, but the dinning room was immense and we were seated immediately. Service was spot on with a waitress coming by and giving us our menus in short order. Busboy also came by our table when we were first seated to provide water.
Once we place our orders they came quickly. My wife loves Eggs Benedict and she was not disappointed with this serving. It was perfect. Tasty with delicious home fries. My order was Two eggs scrambled, bacon, home fries and rye toast. Either they added an extra egg to the order or the eggs were jumbo sized. An enormous serving. No complaints here! Bacon was super crispy. Loved it. Home fries? Same as my wife’s…tasty. Usually the toast that comes with the meal is no big deal, however this was different. Don’t know who they get their rye bread from, but i hope they never change brand/vendor. Nice tasting rye bread. Service was good as well. Our waitress checked in on us to make sure everything was ok and we didn’t have to flag her down for coffee refills. Nice Art Deco design to the diner. The ambience was a nice added feature that complimented the whole meal.
Good food, generous servings, good service, extensive menu and a nice dining atmosphere. The Olympic Diner is a winner.
